So giving a 30 point deduction for using the courts would just create more court cases. With the upcoming Comic Relief, does anyone else feel that the like of Jonathon Ross, Chris Martin, Bob Geldolf, U2, Madonna and all other begging celebs, should now be giving their own money rather than asking for ours. West Ham are apparently basing the appeal on the fact that one man (Tevez) did not make the difference between them staying up or going down, however the following is a quote from the Premier League's official website regarding the 2006/07 season, "The Hammers' escape was largely down to Carlos Tevez who joined the club on 31st August along with fellow Argentine Javier Mascherano. Mascherano left for Liverpool in January but Tevez stayed to fire the Hammers to safety." Seems like the Premier League could have just played into United's hands now.
