Following on from the incident in Claridges last week where a woman was made to wear a giant napkin whilst feeding (thus drawing more attention to herself than she would otherwise), it has been suggested that it's OK for women to be asked to go and sit in a corner somewhere to feed their babies.

 

Do you think it acceptable for women breast feeding to be asked to move to a designated area?

I used to cringe everytime I saw her on telly. I thought this is the image Sheffield is sending out to the world.

Labour hired a load of pen pushers in nothing jobs, not teachers and nurses.

 

The big problem was the Global crash but at some point the expansion of civil/public servants had to be corrected and addressed.

Do you think the people and institutions largely responsible for the 2008 financial crisis need correcting and addressing? Or shall we just let the bankers lead us into more financial ruin so we can spread their debt to the people of this country?

If the last government hadn't made such massive increases in public spending we wouldn't have the massive bills to pay for it now. Anyone who lives beyond their means ends up facing a huge bill eventually. I'm sure some try and blame "the bankers" when the repo man comes around for their 65 inch flat screen TV that they bought on tick.

So the collapse of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Northern Rock and Lehman Brothers was because New Labour spent all that money on teachers and nurses which caused the sub prime lending bubble to burst?

It is the way they worked in Harold Wilson's Britain. Now things are slightly different.

If folk think their taxes are too high they can move abroad and pay no tax in the UK. Folk like Richard Branson and Lewis Hamilton do just that.

the difference being that the bedroom tax sorts out and charges the ones that dont need that extra room and are already in subsidised housing, the proposed mansion tax affects people that have already paid their taxes and contribute the most.
