  1. @ David, I won't enter into discussions on here about my beliefs or disbeliefs, especialy on this thread as it was intended for answers for my research for an article on Asylums. I have looked in to all aspects of Mysticism over the years but I do not follow any particular doctrine and Sheffield Paranormal as a group is open to any race or religion. ---------- Post added 20-03-2013 at 09:28 ---------- Thankd Nikki - red I will have a browse x
  2. Does anyone know the exact date that Middlewood hospital closed its doors for the last time please. Also does anyone know if there are any records of patient treatment during the early years of the South Yorkshire Asylum. Thanks
  3. One day only special tomorrow, this will be an interesting experience.

  5. Thank you, my sentiments entirely. This has nothing to do with being racist, it is about holding on to what is left of our ailing country. We the english/british public seem to have no say anymore. What happened to free speech. I am not particulary patriotic but I was born of English parents and I live in this country. I believe we should be allowed to fly our flag (as other countries do) and be proud of our country's name.
  6. Goodbye to my England, So long my old friend Your days are numbered, being brought to an end To be Scottish, Irish or Welsh that's fine But don't say you're English, that's way out of line. The French and the Germans may call themselves such So may Norwegians, the Swedes and the Dutch You can say you are Russian or maybe a Dane But don't say you're English ever again. At Broadcasting House the word is taboo In Brussels it's scrapped, in Parliament too Even schools are affected, staff do as they're told They must not teach children about England of old. Writers like Shakespeare, Milton and Shaw The pupils don't learn about them anymore How about Agincourt, Hastings , Arnhem or Mons ? When England lost hosts of her very brave sons. We are not Europeans, how can we be? Europe is miles away over the sea We're the English from England , let's all be proud Stand up and be counted - Shout it out loud ! Let's tell our Government and Brussels too We're proud of our heritage and the Red, White and Blue Fly the flag of Saint George or the Union Jack Let the world know - WE WANT OUR ENGLAND BACK !!!!
  7. If you have an existing building society or bank accounts some will let you keep them as a mininmum service. It mostly applies to opening a new account.
  8. Some banks won't let you have a bank account for 6 years. If you have a BT phone even if your bills are up to date they will end your contract as they do not supply bankrupts. If you own your own house they may force you to sell it to pay off your debts. If you you have a car and need it for work or health reasons you will be allowede to keep it if it is a cheap one otherwise you will be expected to sell it. If you do still decide to go bankrupt include any addresses you have lived at in the past just in case there is anything you have overlooked or in case someone else has used your name at that address to get credit. You will not be able to get credit over the amount of £250 for three years and you must declare that you are a bankrupt. Hope this helps. If you need any more info send me a pm. Used to do Litigation and Debt management for a living years ago. Plus been there myself and its no fun, you just go round in circles. Depending on how much you owe maybe debt management could help. If you want to talk about it PM or email and I might be able to advise. I don't work in this field anymore but still know a fair bit about it.
  9. I don't listen to the radio much these days. Can't find a station I like since I left London
  10. During March/April had three separate phone calls from a man asking to book a Reading. Then sounded like he was masturbating on phone. Gave a different name each time. Needless to say number was withheld.
  11. Hi, I don't find the title provocative at all. I would be quite happy to discuss anything you want to know about mediumship. The government is bringing out new legislations (as I tried to make people aware of in a previous thread) and we are in the process of regulating, mediums, psychics, etc. I won't post any more on this forum as the last time I posted the criticism turned into defamation of character but if anyone really wants answers I will gladly try to give them if you PM or email me Or come along to one of my private teaching groups as a guest and see for yourself how people actually start to pick things up. Thanks for your time. BTW I am self employed and pay NI and Tax.
  12. Not illegal just being legislated. Everyone will have to be registered under an umbrella group and insured. It will also apply to people who sell spiritual goods crystals etc and healers
  13. Also I should say that this wasn't to do with mediumship it was about our paranormal group, but I took the brunt of it.
  14. I have never been dishonest in my life, one of my faults. And Mick would never have known if it was illegal or not. Did you ask him in the right way? I didn't read the posts so I don't know what was said. I don't tout for custom as I like to do very little these days, 45 years of other peoples problems that weigh quite heavy. I apologise if you think of me or Mick as dishonest, distasteful and illegal but anyone who really knows as will tell you that is not true in the slightest.
  15. So he made the mistake of being proud of me, take him out and shoot him for it, and he is my partner not my husband. He has in the past put links and told people I was his GF. Anyone can see from our webs sites he is my partner, we do not hide the fact. I apologise on his behalf for upsetting you. a polite request or PM would have worked better. Which brings us round again to how people put things across.
  16. To quote Kirstys point of what goes around comes around. Yes I totally agree with that. Having been on the receiving end of many a malicious email, forum post, and telephone threat in the past which I may add left me feeling very scared and vulnerable and unable to leave the house on my own as a result. I have not retaliated by stooping to foul means but I have sat back and taken all the dirt they threw out and watched these people cut their own throats, so to speak. I have come through it all and more with a very thick skin and will no longer be suckered in by these kind of people
  17. I don't think anyone is getting my point that I believe a degree of constructive criticism is healthy and I don't mind it. Just pointing out the way in which some people criticise.!!!
  18. I suppose once again this is going to open a can of worms but here goes. The particular thread I am referring to here appears to have been pulled as not relating to the subject of the thread. My partner happened to put my name forward as being a good Medium and was told he was being dishonest in recommending me. He was unaware that he was doing anything wrong. He would never deliberately deceive anyone but never the less he got slated. We both have public profiles and anyone can find out exactly who we are by visiting our websites but the people who hand out this abuse do so under a cloak of anonymity. It seems to me these people must have had something really bad happen to them to make them so full of hate that they have to be so venomous to other individuals. As I have said I am open to constructive criticism but there are ways of doing this without making it into a personal attack. I personally have never hated anyone although I have had more than justified cause throughout my life. Life is too short for all this. If you don't agree with something, fine but don't immediately jump to the conclusion that someone is a bad person just because they do or say something you don't agree with, especially when you don't know them personally. We have both worked hard all our lives, apart from a short period of illness, and are still doing so. We pay N.I. and Taxes the same as everyone else. I personally work within the law with my mediumship and therapies and pay out a lot of money annually for insurance. I am always very open, sometimes too much so, I don't have any ghosts in the closet (well none that I have found anyway). I am sorry if a lot of people don't like my 'career', but it doesn't me any better or worse than anyone else, and I can assure you it has bought me a lot of pain and heartache as well as pleasure. I am sure if you look closely you will find someone more 'dishonest or fraudulent' than you seem to think that we are. I could point my finger at a few, but I don't, I strongly believe that these people get found out in the end. If you want a decent debate, to find out what I do and don't believe instead of jumping to conclusions just ask and I will do my best to answer. I wish you all the best that life can give you:)
  19. Clairvoyance is a type of Mediumship. It means clear seeing. So therefore in theory anyone saying they do clairvoyance should be a Medium, but not always. You need to ask if they are a Psychic or a Medium. A Psychic sees things surrounding the person that is having the sitting i.e. past, present, future. A Medium receives messages from or concerning people who have passed away, sometimes these messages can be personal to loved ones, sometimes they can give help and advice. I hope this clears this up for you.
