Hi, i'm wanting a change in career and wondered if anyone out there had any advice for me on becoming a veteinary nurse? My previous work experience includes running a pub and being a sales manager so I feel that my CV is weak as i'm trying to find a job with training in a Veteinary surgery. Has anyone got any advice on the CV? I have 10 C+ Grade at Gcse and 3 A-levels. Thanks in advance.

My boyfriend is diabetic (type 1) and is registered with Norwood medical centre, he away with our son and i'm joining them 2morrow and he's nearly out of insulin so i phoned for a repeat perscription to collect 2morrow and the receptionist refused to order one and said his review was due, i explained he was away and he could go for one next week and she still said no! I asked to speak to a doctor and she said i couldn't as it was nearly dinner time. I've managed to get him some from the diabetes centre at the NGH luckily. I think this is disgusting, how can they deny a anyone insulin for 5 days! If anyone has or knows anyone with diabetes you will know how ill and tired they get after a few hours of not having it. I want to make a complaint. advice anyone? ps i've going to register him with Grenoside doctors this afternoon.
