  1. Bents Green, off Ringinglow Road is a great area, it feels like a village, with country walks almost from the door and some really useful local shops. The Primary Schools are very good and Silverdale (secondary) regularly gets into the top 50 state schools in the country. Burbage Moor is a ten minute drive and city centre is a 20 minute bus ride.
  2. I run a stress management training business and consultancy.
  3. Tesco could not deliver my shop on Thurday - when I rang they promised to bring it on Sunday and offered me £10.00 off my next shop.
  4. I have found the same and it gets worse as they get older. Some times it is the youngster just not handing over the letter but often the schools are not very good at communicating and maybe expect the children to be more responsible than they actually are. Try keeping an eye on the school website, keep a note of dates in the child's planner and establish a rapport with their form tutor and head of year. The parental grapevine is also worth cultivating. Good Luck.
  5. I would go with Quinn too. They quoted around £800 p.a. for my 17 year old daughter and also do a monthly plan.
  6. I vistited Western Park Museum last Sunday and was taken aback to find a place suitable mainly for toddlers and much of it not relevant to Sheffield. Much smaller towns have better museums with a strong local flavour. Have something great for the children by all means but lets not pretend it's our museum.
  7. He sounds very dodgy. No decent bloke would behave in this way to a woman on public transport. If I was you I would carry a rape alarm as the sound would scare most people off. Stay vigilant and keep safe!
  8. I work from home - have done for fifteen years. I did find it a bit lonely in the early years but have learned to compensate by taking days off to see friends and having long phone calls with old mates.
  9. Hi, My daughter went to Greystones and was very happy there. It felt like a safe and nurturing environment and well connected to the local community. I don't know anything aginst Hunter's Bar except its location near to Ecclesall Road - I was put off as my daughter is asthmatic.
