my husbands family name was roe his mum and dad was lucy and herbert hes got sisters and brothers peter,clifford, philip,tommy,john. sylvia, elizabeth,marjorie his mum and dad used to go into the hartley house club quite a lot

top of wincobank hill there is a roman road that runs from jenkin rd down to wards upwell street there is the old fort further down there was a gun enplacement and a search light enplacement for the second world war
