Does anyone know anything about this place? I seem to remember it being open in the late 1980s but any info anyone has other than this would be much appreciated!

As part of my research on Sheffield pubs I seem to recall that in the mid 1990s someone was murdered with a golf club at the Golden Keys on the Westfield estate. Does anyone remember this? There was a similar incident in 2002 and I wondered if my mind was playing tricks on me but I seem to remember the story doing the rounds whilst I was still at school. Any info would be much appreciated!

Who Remembers The Wapentake?
theimposter replied to WallBuilder's topic in Sheffield History & Expats
Yeah- I thought that but I have seen a picture on picture Sheffield from 1972 that shows all the units under the grosvenor 'to let'. I understand the management moved from the Buccaneer to here in 1973 as they were both owned by Trust House Forte. -

Rotherham council is skint- all parking charges seem to have been increased and I guess they won't be bothered about all the parking on the roads round the back near Woolley brothers abattoir as its in Sheffield! -
