Me and my partner have looked after a family pet this week - a Yorkshire terrier around 3 yrs old. He isn't the most obedient dog in the world but it ok. Recently he's started going into phases where he seems very withdrawn and growls whenever a woman goes nr him - he also growls at women's bare feet at times. Over the past couple of days he has stayed in this phase whereas it would usually last a couple of hours. He also cowers in this mood. He is a rescue dog and he's been fine the past 2 week we have kept him. He's also not been hit or anything. Quite clueless as what todo any ideas?

Sorry but I dont agree with you there.. I'm a student nurse at present & so many people have dropped out during our course... After experience people do drop out because they realise that the profession isnt for them - afterwards you are left with the people that are there because they want to be nurses. Our lecture halls dont have half as many people in them now since when we started...

I agree with alot of the people on here; cutbacks because of lack of funds; wards closing; lack of staff - they all contribute to a person's care. without these the patients are suffering as a result.
