  1. I'd recommend OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org/)
  2. Would 5/8" be too thin? http://www.screwfix.com/p/earth-rod-5-8-4ft-extendable/87633
  3. I was a member until I got a car a couple of years ago. I only used the cars maybe a dozen times in two years, but never had any problems - the cars were always reasonably clean, booking system worked as it should, never had a problem topping up with fuel, bills were always accurate etc, etc. In the end, there weren't many times it worked out cheaper than either a taxi or a 'normal' hire car - a club car for 6 hours is £30 + 23p/mile, but normal hire car can be had for ~£40 for a full weekend + fuel.
  4. What about one-way car hire? £50 each way hire with europcar, plus (say) £20 petrol each way - £140 total.
  5. Or else dump the pennies into a Tesco (or similar) self service check-out & write the charity a cheque
  6. Maybe God is happy for polar bears, tigers, sharks etc. etc. to eat us?
  7. If God didn't want us to eat animals then why did he make them out of meat?
  8. I'd try the RSPCA cruelty line - 0300 1234 999 Edit - good advice at - http://www.rspca.org.uk/allaboutanimals/wildlife/injuredanimals
  9. It's not a competition - it's market research. If a lack of public chargers is stopping people buying electric cars, it's in Nissan's interest to see that the chargers get built - they just want to see where there's the most interest
  10. The council website doesn't say how they define 'abandoned' - for all I know once it's been stationary on the road for X months it's automatically classed as abandoned, regardless of who's house it's outside.
  11. (If I understand correctly) the council has the right to remove an abandoned vehicle, without notice (https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/in-your-area/report_request/abandoned.html). If the car hadn't been moved for some time that might be enough to consider it abandoned - whether your neighbour's say-so was enough to convince them otherwise is another matter.
  12. I think the point is to trial the technology and infrastructure - any benefit to Sheffield and/or Rotherham is just incidental.
  13. Thermal cutout gone? (Possibly a little red button on the back that just needs pushing in, maybe needs a cheap component replacing) Make & model might be useful
  14. There won't be an error, the line I've quoted skips the script (including the html) if no variable 'email' is passed from the form (to prevent search-bots overloading the system). As the html form doesn't contain a form input 'email', but rather 'email_address', the script jumps right to the end - exactly as it's been told to. Edit - posted before I saw anywebsite's edit
