Hi all, Is there any Aquarium know it all's out there?? I have 60lt bio orb and the water is green! I've changed the water 50/50 then 1/4 every 4 days, it goes on lovely for a couple of days then back to green! I think it may be in the wrong place (its in the kitchen about 8ft from patio doors).... could this be the reason? I don't even know if I'm looking after the fish properly! I need real help please... Thanks in advance x

Hi all Just to let you all it was Hasina's up meadowhead. It was 2ft long and It served me, hubby, 2 kids and enough left over for seconds... though we didnt eat it, as was already stuffed! in it you got.... Tikka Chicken meat Donna meat Shish kebab chips salad and choice of sauces too. There is definatly enough for 4/5 adult depending on your apitite... and no were are not an obese family, just once in a while splurgers!!

Its the best shop out there! you can get almost anything you need, I've just got the Bracelet making bug and have ordered alsorts and all at a reasonable price too, though I need to wait 4 weeks for my beads as they are coming from China! Other than that I heard of a place called Jam Jar beads, they have a great reputation and selection of beads. They have a website also. Good luck with the search Katy x

This is my fear Although I have two jobs I'm at home enough through the day to be there for the dog should we decided to get one, so he wouldn't be home alone for hours on end, I'd only be out for 2 1/2 hrs a lunchtime mon - fri My DD also has a bad temper, slamming doors, stomping feet, shouting & screaming, I sometimes feel that this is a another reason why not to get one...but I also think it may give her reason to calm down If we do get one, he shall be loved & cared for. I've been looking into the different breed types that would be ok with the family.... I'm not saying I'm going out tommorrow to get one, It needs a LOT of thought and yes maybe I should talk it through with her, to get her thoughts on the idea. Thanks again to everyone who replied xx

She goes dancing, we even had to change the day she went as she was getting picked on by another girl who was in her class at school! Her teachers and I work together very closley to help her also

Thanks for your reply We had a cat when she was young.... he died shortly before DS was born....I suggested a cat as I prefer them myself to be honest, but....DH wants a dog!!! He said because she like's chuahuas (sp!) should we get one of them, but I think she may get bored with it... Oh I'm so torn

Evening all.... As the title says should I get a dog for my daughter? We are a family with 2 children DS 6 & DD 9 yrs old. The thing is my DD is very much of a loner... she has no friends on the street we live and not many at school, the only friend she does have lives behind us and she will be going to high school and I think my daughter may get too young for her to 'play' with. She is borderline ADHD not that I'm labeling her, but I want you to see the full picture. My husband suggested we get a dog for her. To keep her occupied for not having friends coming round and to give her something, not to do... but look after, make her grow up a little, give her some indepencence. I have said on a few occasions that I dont want a dog, I like my house and garden as it is...Please dont get me wrong I love animals I had dogs and cats as a child, and before we got married and had children... we tried having a dog when my son was 6 weeks old.. but that turned into a nightmare (It was a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy and kept running after and biting my DD!) All my family except me want one and I know that at the end of the day it will be me cleaning up after it, and taking it for walks...though my DH may do it on occasions. I work two part time jobs and dont want the reponsibility of a family pet, but looking at my daughter she's so lonley, I greive for her not having friends like her brother. I need advice... I cant make people like her or to be her friend. Please, please be polite in your replies and if you need more info just ask the question and I'll do my best to answer.
