I heard an interview with him on the radio and he admitted that he purposefully went looking for trouble. Yes, and if the police hadn't have intervened to prevent Mr Falter from walking into a potentially dangerous situation then they would've been criticised. In this situation the police were damned if they did and damned if they didn't. However Mr Falter could've used his common sense and taken a different route to keep himself safe. However that wouldn't have generated the headlines which I suspect lies at the heart of this 'story'.
