  1. What eventually happens when there is nothing left of the barrel to scrape:
  2. Oh dear: Lee Anderson mocked for mistake in bizarre St George’s Day post (msn.com)
  3. Hackey, the mob you voted for have pretty much ignored everything which was in their manifesto, or even done the exact opposite. I don't think I've read a single complaint from you on here about that! Do you think you might be guilty of holding the Labour Party to a higher standard than the Tories?
  4. Yep went on their website and found this: 10 Labour policies to change Britain – The Labour Party
  5. I must've forgotten about that. RIP But nevertheless this craven attitude to the Tories by some irrespective of how barrel scrapingly awful they've sunk really needs calling out.
  6. Is that because Axe has nominated himself to be Tory Party's Mr. Shoeshine?
  7. Indeed, it's not at all like right wing groups to use St George's Day to engage in thuggery. Though I'd love to see the faces of the knuckle dragging morons who cause the violence when the find out that St George was born in Turkey 😂
  8. Not as I've understood it: Violent clash breaks out as 'far-right' groups descend on London for St George’s Day march - LBC
  9. Sure it's had luminaries of the likes of Ted Heath, Rab Butler, Derick Heathcote Amory, and Harold Macmillan. However when you have the likes of Chris Grayling, Gavin Williamson, Priti Patel, Suella Braverman, Liz Truss, Boris Johnson, and Lee Anderson all occupying senior positions in the party in recent times - that's going to take the sheen of any party and render it gutter worthy in most people's estimations.
  10. And according to Daniels, even Trump's semi was worse than useless Perhaps that's why he's so full of rage.
  11. In an interview with The Sun, the mother of the young person said: “This isn’t the end for us." https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/comedy/news/huw-edwards-wife-scandal-family-b2533134.html Am I being cynical in suggesting that when she said this she's wanting money?
  12. I wouldn't even trust them to tell the truth about what their contacts said.
  13. Really, if it was more prestigious being a Tory MP, why are they trailing in the polls, and regarded with contempt? But I'll admit I am fascinated who you think it's more prestigious being a former Tory MP - where's your evidence?
  14. It feels like at the moment there's an exodus from the south of the city - With regards to Hallam University Psalter Lane Campus has gone, Collegiate Crescent campus is going - Now Hallamshire Hospital is going.
  15. Aside from those that are retiring because of age; many have announced they are standing down early because of the rules which govern MPs going into the private sector.
  16. I'd not even considered that. You make a fair point.
  17. It would be ironic if snooker did go to China on the back of moaners Hossein Vafaei, because at certain times of the year, the pollution is so bad people can barely breathe, and visibility is massively reduced. Oh well, at least it doesn't smell.
  18. Would that be down Abbeydale Road, Ecclesall Road area? It would eventually be very popular as a hell of a lot of buses go down those roads - but can you imagine the consternation caused by the disruption....
  19. I agree it's performative nonsense, but for some weird reason it's like catnip to right wing opinion formers in some parts of the media.
  20. Well we all have our opinions, and I'm not afraid to articulate mine.
  21. I've got another 14 years of graft to do before then!
  22. Good for her being a champagne socialist. There's no contradiction between drinking Dom Perignion and being a socialist. Dom Perignion was a Benedictine monk who along with being an important quality pioneer for Champagne wine, also devoted his life to tending to the sick and poor. So what better beverage for socialists to drink than champagne?
  23. Well I think she's lovely. Normally doulas work with expectant women, but they must be branching out into working with the dying, which is a very positive development. Can you imagine being at the end of your life, and Priti Patel, Suella Braverman or one of the other Tory vampires, charged with looking after you? They'd unplug your ventilator, just so they could charge their mobile phones up.
