  3. Which part of sheffield? around Parsons Cross there was Magalaga and his band of merry men and up Foxhill was a brother of a lad that I went to school with, he went on the CB and was known as Animal, his brother was Dean Wade who is no longer with us, I was just too young to be in the cult which was reintroduced through Quadraphinia if memory serves. I can remember going to Skeggy and being in ore of the well dressed mods and there immaculate scooters. a couple of years later became a bit of a boot boy myself but the trend was already dying at this point. I worked with a lad from Rotherham some years later that was also a MOD, his name was Tony Parkin, he raced 125 scooters in fact his best mate was killed on one, any of these names ring any bells? I no not were any of these lads are now but I am 40 so they must be nocking on a bit now.

His name was Dave I think, but can't remember owt else about him really, bit older than me so didn't have much to do with him, he onc ewent out with a bird called Tricia, from Southey but can't remember her name either. Come on Nidge give us Hand here altziemers is setting in fast, you were about with most of 'em I'm sure if you rack your brain you could tell me who I'm talking about.

I can remeber a little about a canadian lass, did she come over with her sister? If so that means I must know who you are? a little more detail may be required if I am to guess correctly. Did you live above the hardware shop on Buchanan?
  13. I left in 84' my tutor was Ms Knight, she started with us and left when we left,. Last time I saw her she was selling the socailist worker down the High St. several years later. The other maths teachers were Mr. (smoke the cigar) Benson ther was one that went on to open a shoe shop just after we started What about Mr. (Claypole) Bishton who taght phisics and the one in the work shop that looked like Captain Kremmen and his mate that was always sweating Mr. Holmes I do believe and my old friend the Gordy phisics teacher. He once tried to beat me up at the back of the class in the labs in the Bristol block his name has slipped my mind, Alderson, thats it Mr. Alderson. I saw him some years later crossing the road near the University, was tempted to put my foot down. I wonder if he still drives the old 2CV. Can anybody remeber the name of the teacher from the work shops that was involved with the restoration of the moggy 1000 in the garage he drove an old mini wore John Lennon specs and had terrible breath? Mr. Morton if memory serves, left to teach at Chaucer I do believe, also mr. Trevorrow, Miss Coy was ther when I left, and Mrs Overland.
  14. Bungi, never new where that came from, still painted in red paint in the tunnel down the fields at back of ma and pa's. Jason came to an abrupt self inflicted end. Theresa is another storey for another day and Susan, well all i can say is we have not spoken in about 15 years. I can still remember your mum if you are who I think you are. Didn't she pass away a couple or three years ago? I must admit the Cross is not the same any more all the characters have gone, or got old. I have an affection for the place but wild horses wouldn't drag me back.
