yeah i went to the shaky all the time then the hillfoot wmc and then burnaby street club ,think if there was a night out i was there even though i was only 14 or 15 at the time ,then when i was old enough to drive it was gg,s and greasy veras for a sandwich an a coffee every night ........i seem to remember a red cavalier ....deffo rings a bell:thumbsup:

in england everybody used am in the 70s as they were using cb,s smuggled over from the states, but then when it was legalized in 1981 everybody seemed to move over to the allocated fm legal channels ,i don't think many at all use am in this country though many have am,fm,and sideband radios , theres plenty using upper and lower sidebands for dx ,but as you say people over here tend to use fm for general chat
