we are still looking for a lead guitarist, male or female, for a Sheffield based girl fronted covers band, at the moment we are a four piece gigging band and are looking for a lead guitarist to enhance the sound of our band,pref in the age group of 30+ must haves, a good sense of humour:hihi:, be committed, flexible, adaptable, innovative and reliable, have own transport and gear,

I have a carlsbro powered mixing desk with an intermitant fault its too good to chuck so can anyone reccomend a good amp tec in the s yorks area that takes on repairs

i was up there the other week and had a great day i stopped counting after 20 fish , the bloke in the next peg did even better bigger fish and a lot more than i caught,it can be a little cold if windy (its a little exposed )so take a coat

a big thanks for the feedback guys the main reason that i was asking is that years ago 80's i did sound n lights for a WMC covers band and the only piece of effects we used was a boss echo chorus box(brill little unit) unlike the binson echoet i used for years which was very unreliable,any way i wanted to see if there were any still about But no need now as our singer has got a fine unit and to sidecut no mate not yet soon though and billy casper your just another wednsday fan gone wrong chuck yoursen in the river mate

anyone got a vocal effect unit they dont want /surpus to requirements mainly chorus and echo

local indie /rock band are in need of a new singer frontman or woman ,the band do covers from the 80's to present day ie jam to the foofighters,we can be flexible in the current set list of songs we play, It would help if you had transport, your own gear ie mic and stand, had some experience , be able to pratice at a local studio once a week/fortnight and be able to gig roughly once a month (if and when we get back up and running),the band has its own small pa and lights to suit pubs,we are not professionals just some blokes who enjoy music and playing,age does'nt matter so long as your over 18 under 65,
