The definition from what i know is what happens to the water ... a cake has water stored in and so in air looses it.. (goes dry).. a biscuit has not much water in and so gains it over time (goes soft .. moist) A soft cookie looses the water going dry ... so is a cake... i think thats the same argument jafa used for their "buiscuits"

I think you're judging apples and pears. DC comics (which thankfully the films are now more towards, unlike that comedy crap with Mr. Freeze) are supposed to be dark highlighting sometimes evil can only be dealt with a "dark knight" who can be hated. This was always aimed more at the adult market especially the films. Spiderman (marvels and the recent films) is aimed to be accessible for children in that be responsible. Marvel have their own "dark" warrior in Wolverine and the punisher (whose films were really poor!) So i think if you are old enough to be on here you'll love the new batman more than spiderman, but if you are younger spiderman is better (well thats my view anyway) .. Iron man 2 however beats them all!! (but is that just because they are starting to listen to fans on how these films should be?!?)

Dear all, I have contacted Ponds Forge about yesterday and the courts being unplayable. I said that the courts were dangerous. I asked why they were deemed playable and what would do about it. This is their reply paraphrased. They wish to apologize to all of our players for the poor and dangerous conditions and that they did not rectifying this before we played on Tuesday. On the weekend they polished the floors to put mats down for a jujitsu event. On Sunday evening and Monday they washed the floors 6 times to remove the polish and thought they had done so. On Monday some of the staff tested the floor and deemed it playable. Ponds forge agree that they need to consider this more carefully next time. They allowed the netball society to play on Monday who made no complaints about the surface so deemed it fine. They also apologize for us being called off for no reason. Ponds forge are still at a loss to really why this occurred but think that someone got confused. After we left last night the managers went onto the court themselves and agree that it was unplayable. They will make a free Tuesday session of badminton for us in the new year as compensation. If any events like this arise before we play (i.e requires polishing the floor), they shall now contact us before and warn us and be more careful about washing the floor. Further, I also would like to apologize that the club did not act sooner on this and get you all off at the beginning. I hope that no one was seriously hurt. Best regards Julian

Hi All Just a quick question about feathers. I have had some comments that on the competitive nights some of you are really not interested in using feathers (which I can understand) As the league is plastics it seems strange to practice with them, however I know some of you like them. To get an idea of how many tubes to get how many of you would like using feathers on thursdays? Cheers Julian

Yeah I think it was that it ponds forge was booked on thursday so we had to move it to wednesday. Its just temp for this week
