There were signs which said it was opening in march but I guess that's slightly wrong. I think June is a bit far in the future to say it looks finished from the outside
-
Yes they are. They're like dermal anchors from what I've been told
-
Has anyone got any skin diver piercings and if so do they grow out? I've heard that they only stay in for so long before they get forced out

I remember we had a sleep in our dinner hour as we started early at 7am. I decided to sleep on a pile of carpets. I woke up to find I'd been bitten by whatever was living in the carpet. So that's why it had been sent for cleaning !!!!

Im not sure if there were 2 or 3 brothers but yes, it did come across as a very old fashioned company and great to work for
-
Yes he was. I went out with the fitters a few times. I was a carpet fitter but couldn't find work as one so they had me doing all sorts as well as taking carpets up from houses that were flood damaged
-
During the time I was there they had just shut the shop at the bottom of ecclesall road and were in the process of opening a new showroom opposite the carpet place
-
I remember Trevor. Where did you work?
-
When did it close?

I worked here in the late 80's for 6 months and loved it. They were on Onslow road, Ecclesall. I worked in the carpet cleaning section. The drying rooms upstairs were lovely and warm in the winter. There were a great bunch of people to work with

Daughter lives off leppings lane and police have told her there's an unexploded bomb from ww2. They won't let her near her house -
Yes it is. Even if there prices are a little higher (I've not noticed this, cat food is cheaper than asda and morrisons) you would save it in petrol by not having to travel to another pet shop.
-
I think they do have a small stock of fish. They have a great selection of food for wild birds. Also they can get anything you want by ordering it for you. I've ordered a couple of cat beds off them
-
Yes they are. And I can confirm that pudding burner doesn't work for them either. Do ya lol
-
Just been to a new pet supplies shop on the shiregreen at the bottom of grange lane. Before you say it, I don't work there. They've got loads of stock with more coming in. Prices are okay too. It should do alright as we haven't anything else near apart from that aquatic place at lane top
-
pretty useless then really.

I`m with bt vision at the moment but i`m thinking of cancelling as they have put there prices up. Would i still be able to use my box as a recordable freeview box if i cancelled my subscription?

There's a crown and a lion which I know means made in sheffield. Then there's what looks like a "d" and then the makers marks. So there's just the "d" that I don't know
-
I'm not sure. Tried to look at the date marks but they make little sense to me

I bought the knife from a house clearance shop in mablethorpe a few year ago and am trying to find out if its worth anything
-
Thanks. Are they still trading?

Such a loss to sheffield. As a volunteer steward at many sporting events in sheffield, I have been to don valley loads of times and its such a lovely place with excellent facilities.
