Hi An approx. 8-10m long x 1.6m tall long section of our older wooden fencing has been blown down in the recent winds and been badly damaged. We are looking for a fencing supplier to come and dispose of the old damaged fencing and erect new fencing to match the fencing in rest of our garden (concrete posts, gravel boards & panels). Can anyone recommend me a good local company to do this? Sheffield forum is great for word of mouth companies. Thank you.

Hi We are still looking for our female back cat, named Tinkerbell. She went missing from Totley 3 weeks ago so could have gone that far. (she may have lost her collar). She is all black but fur shines brown in the sun, she is only 1 year old and is quite small. She is also spayed so has a small scar from the operation. She is also microchipped. If you think it could be her, I can PM you a picture.

As I'm a foodie and an avid fan of Man Vs Food, I was wondering if there are any independent cafe's / restaurants in sheffield that people who know the show would recommend. Big portions, great food and eating challenges etc!

managed to find the black cat near the crown pup but unfortunately wasn't our tinkerbell. Thank you for the suggestion though, going to search a little further afield now as she still hasn't returned.

Still hasn't shown up. Been a full week now. Rung round shelters, vets and RSPCA etc. and no information as yet. Gonna put posters up soon if she doesn't come home.

9 month old black kitten with pink collar and Id barrel missing now for 24 hours. She's microchipped and neutered. Goes by the name of tinkerbell. Lives at top end of green oak avenue. Usually comes in after 1 or 2 hours. I know cats do this often but this is the first time so we are obviously a little worried. If anyone has any info could you please pm me. Thank you for reading. Just a warning that they are giving out parking tickets by the bucket full today. (bank hol Monday). Seen loads of cars getting them slapped on the windscreen for parking illegally. People used to get away with it but I think they are cracking down on it nowadays.

Lived in Bradway for a few years and it has some nice areas, but Dore has better transport links with the train station and more frequent bus services into town. It all depends on the type property you're after, Dore is obviously more price so you would get more for your money in Bradway.

I moved to Totley this time last year and I can recommend the dentist, doctors and vets. Been impressed so far with the service from all three. Quite a good chippy too!

Hi, Just wondered if anyone knew any good removals companies in Sheffield area. We are moving from a 1 bed flat in Bradway to a 3 bed house in Totley. We also need our wardrobes taking apart & re-building at the new property if that is possible. This will take at least 2 men as they are quite large. We will be moving mid March. Totally agree with NiniBB - NIMBY'S and local MP's are the problem here, I'd gladly swap my 1 bed flat which overlooks no turbines for a 5 bed detached cottage which overlooks 50 of em! If any wind turbine opposer had actually worked at a power station they might appreciate how much better these things are compared to Drax! Ah wel......lets use the Sheephouse site to build a nuclear plant instead.....give em something to really complain about!

Just watched the intro to the F Word (Gordon Ramsay) and in the intro it shows Morans resturant in Dore. Best food in Sheffield in my opinion. Does anyone know if it is to be featured on the program? Just curious.
