Hello, I was wondering if there are any local over 35 football teams who require players. I’m S36 based and a defender. Ideally looking for something with midweek training and Saturday morning (or Sunday afternoon) matches. I currently play 5-a-side weekly and it’s been a while since I played 11-a-side. Cheers,

Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in some regular cycling. Either weeknights or weekend mornings. This could be either road bike or hybrid/mountain bikes. I've tended to either do roads from Deepcar/Stocksbridge over to Bradfield, Hillsborough and back. Or from here towards Huddersfield or Wakefield. Alternatively there is the Trans Pennine Trail that goes from around here to Dunford Bridge and back (20-22 miles) and is ideal for hybrid/mountain bikes. Anyway, if anyone is interested please let me know. It would mainly be for fun/fitness.

Corksy... did you ever get a Forum side going? I played right back in a Forum 11 vs a team from Hillsborough last march.

Was aching like mad today, then got roped into playing 5-a-side tonight, not going to be able to move tomorrow. Be good if we can get a couple more games sorted out before the end of the season, everyone seems keen to play again.

It was 4-1 Matt, nice try though ;-) Thought we were much better in the 2nd half, created a few chances and seemed more solid at the back. Not bad considering we didn't even have a keeper! Dave (right back!)

Hi, Are there any local (Deepcar area) 11-a-side sunday league football teams looking for new players? I am 28 and haven't played 11s for a number of years, but I am keen to get back involved. Fitness is an issue so I'd be keen to go training for a while before thinking about playing. Cheers
