  1. When you see one as bad as that which has been roundly criticised my ex ref, players etc then maybe it should be a precedent for change rather than burying your head in the sand, I hope a decision costs united this season then all the people who sit on their hands may have a different view.
  2. Listen as I've said on another thread, refeering in this country is a joke, the standards are terrible. We get charged top dollar for games and the officials should be competant, just because your season has been abysmal stop jumping on the Owls best player for what is a football problem, I can guarantee sheffield united will be a victim of one of these costly mistakes very soon (not that you'll have much at stake).
  3. Perhaps if they made them more accountable the mistakes would lessen.
  4. The bed refs decision didn't affect the result, I really hope united are victims of a bad decision this season and it'll be great to revive the Hull match thread, you never know a ref might deny you 12th place in the final table. :hihi:
  5. It's not the first bad result of the season against lowly opposition though and you can't be just unlucky that many times.
  6. A great day out, total underdogs won the day. I remember Manchester Utd fans with banners claiming Lee Sharpe (the main man for them at the time) was gonna tear us a new one on the way to the ground. The occasion was better than the actual game but it was all part of a fantastic season. Is anyone going to the Class of '91 event at Magna in April? I've got a great photo of us all back in the local later that night stood behind a huge flag, United fans may have similar in sepia.
  7. Of course there wouldn't have been as much of an outcry for a Hull player, this is a Sheffield football forum, I for one would have pointed out that it was a ridiculous decision and yet another example of the diabolical standard of refereeing in the game today, the ref has been the main talking point in our last 4 games and that is totally wrong, the best refs in a game are the ones you don't notice, these idiots seem to want to make the headlines.
  8. He's played 25 times this season and was sent off in his last full game for the first time this season, hardly 'past behaviour'. To follow your twisted logic Diego Costa should get sent off every game he plays.
  9. This has been a very high profile case but let's hope it is far from the last, this is only scratching the surface of the abuse that has taken place, I fully hope we will be seeing more men of this nature in the dock along with policemen and councillors who were complicit in their inaction.
  10. They do make mistakes obviously, it's a high tempo game but in this case when even the player who committed the foul admits it there should be something in place to correct the mistake afterwards, this is done with a straight red. Why should we have to lose one of our best players because of the continuing ineptness of match officials, I think all football fans should be taking a stand against incidents like this rather than berating a rivals star forward.
  11. I think many people would have been glad to bare the cost of seeing this repulsive stain on humanity dragged into court every day.
  12. He's gained us far more than he's lost and there's not a player in your over stuffed squad that's got an 'apporth of his talent.
  13. Neil Warnock was far from honest when he told players to deliberately get sent off during the infamous battle of bramall lane, I seem to remember he had a propensity for blaming refs for virtually every defeat in his career. I take with all the jealous comments FF must be highly rated by the teams looking up from the lower leagues, if any of uniteds current crop was missing for a couple of games would anybody notice, your seasons virtually over and another in L1 beckons.
  14. There was mention amongst the horror stories that have emerged that one girl was taken to Blackpool held captive above a restaurant and repeatedly abused, I do hope investigations are taking place to find the identities of the low life involved in this to. I would guess Akhtar got into his position of power through PC agenda targets rather than any merits of his character he's clearly a vile individual who should have been nowhere near public office.
  15. Good to see the jealous United fans on here who can only dream about a player like FF defending the actions of a clueless ref who made a huge error that has been roundly condemned by pundits, ex players, ex refs and chairmen...........but not united fans I would have taken a point before the game and happy with one after, we shaded the first half, were pegged back in the second unit the introduction of Nuihu and defended well despite the resting of first choice defenders throughout, great turn by Westwood in goal as well. Let's hope for footballs sake we can put Colin's crude tactics to the sword and beat Rovrum next weekend.
  16. He has fathered 7 children and was planning more, wouldn't put anything past the scum and I think I'd be keeping very quite about any association if I were you.
  17. A tough nut to crack at home are Hull, only one defeat in three months and don't concede many, I think we need to go at them from the off and an early goal could be a game changer (c/o Kevin McCabe) I hope we dont get a penalty as no one will want to take it again.
  18. Fortunately he's not intelligent enough to back up his trolling with facts and just repeats things with nothing to back them up.
  19. It says in the report he has 7 children by different women and was planning another child, Hmmmmmmmmm!!!!
  20. He's obviously a piece of total slime who should be jailed for life.
  21. Where do you get the evidence that no one wanted the penalty, were you at the game?
  22. Derby hadn't won a game in 2016 until the last couple of weeks, still in the play offs though so even if we don't get anything on Friday its not a disaster, 54 points in 33 games is a more telling stat.
  23. Lets hope these vile individuals get what they deserve but a thorough investigation should be taking place and any police officers/council workers etc who did nothing or covered up evidence should be found, named and given similar sentencing, they are almost as contemptible as the perpetrators.
