  7. I was a bit annoyed with the signs erected in Clumber Park,we walked for a good 2 hours with our 4 dogs, when we suddenly came across signs saying there had been a problem with dogs becoming ill after walking in the vicinity. We put the dogs straight on thier leads and walked back along the road,on reaching the payment box near the entrance,we again observed a sign which was not placed in a location where you would see it when you drive up to pay your money or show your national trust card,i asked the attendant what the problem was and she replied a few dogs had been taken ill after walking their in the area,we asked her if any had died and she said she belived one had.I really think they should verbally make you aware when you drive in of the problem,if they had or the sign was better displayed we would not have gone any where near the place. After a lot of worry our dogs have not come to any harm, but it could have been a differt story.
