  1. thank you for your response it has made me laugh if nothing else. I dont know i just prefer to be all brown with no white bits...i used to be very tanorexic but now with the job i do you can not see much of me anyway so i decided to loose the tan. I really need one today as i am going out tomorro on a special do and when you have some colour whether fake or not you always feel better. The british weather always seems to be sunny when I am at work so very rarely get to see it other than when its raining so Im afraid im a shade of milk bottle white at the moment anyway!!
  2. I live nearer to rotherham than sheffield, i dont mind travelling a bit but i liver closer to Killamarsh than Ecclesall Road area which is the only one i know that does them. Thanks Wyseowl for the private message, im still not confident about having it done without the booth though. I wouldnt want to put anyone off their dinner by seeing me naked haha. :~)
  3. I need a spray tan tomorrow ready for a night out Saturday, does anyone know of any that I can go? I went to one up ecclesall road last time but I don't live anywhere near there. It has to be one where you walk into trhe booth and the machine does it for you aswell rather than a beautician with an airbrush. I dont fancy the thought of getting totally naked in front of a stranger plus I want allover tan not one which will show where paper pants have been. Id be grateful of any responses thanks:o
  4. thanks for all of your replies on here, we go soon so needed to get it sorted. I defo dont have a criminal record so hopefully things wont be a problem.
  5. We got a white gloss kitchen from homebase they may do red aswell and it was a decent price, we have just got a gud kitchen fitter yesterday cheaper than Homebase labour. I would personally steer clear of mfi if their kitchens are as gud as their bedroom furniture and service they will be out of business in a year.
  6. we have just had sky fitted today. We have had multi room fitted and skyplus. It is costing us £16 a month for the sky plus and £10 a month for multi room function to have it in bedroom. Fingers crossed everything seems ok at the minute even though I dont really rate Saturday night television. Crystal Peaks have two men stood at top of escalator who we bought ours from last week. Hopefully we wont have to deal with the customer service team..and if we do I hope we get a better service than what others seem to have had.
  7. We have accumulated a few tvs and dont need them all. They are nowt spesh but one in particular is a silver 32 inch and needs something doing to it as it was playing up before we upgraded. We have some other older black ones that are in perfect working condition aswell. Just wondered if anyone does pay to take them off your hands? Thanks
  8. Aston Post office do nice sandwiches and most of the staff are really helpful and friendly too.
  9. Exactly..I agree with Happyhippy, Im sure most people would agree, they would rather have PCSO's on the street rather than no one at all....because you wont find many bobbies walking the streets anymore, unless they work on an Safer Neighbourhood Teams as bobbies have that many pressures now from above they haven't got the time to be walking. So by having a PCSO walking round where you live everyday, surely that would make you feel safer than having a police car whizz past on a way to an immediate incident with a bobby driving?
  10. I have seen what Police Officers and PCSOs do and think they both do a fab job. I do think that people don't understand what PCSO's roles entail and sometimes people think they just walk around aimlessly all day. But after seeing them out and about you usually find that they are very approachable and 'youths' will usually come and talk to them and engage with them whereas as soon as they see a bobby most of the youths 'do one!' Sorry if I hit a nerve regarding them loosing 150 bobbies..that isn't my fault and I do agree there should be more bobbies but that is down to the TOP DOGS and the crappy government not because PCSOs are employed. I do disagree that its just about locking people up - there is a bigger picture!!
  11. Call em plastic coppers if you want to...but a lot of them do a fab job..its not all about going around arresting people and if they need to, they know how to handle themselves more than most anyway. Why do you need to lock people up anyway...the police officers are there for that and I would have thought that people feel safer knowing that some sort of police presence is around the streets helping to keep people safe. Yes and youths do tell them to F.O. just like they do coppers and sometimes even you or I!!
  12. I never liked fish and still don't really but will travel miles to have Mosbrough Fish and Chips on Chapel road/Street. (not the admiral, the one on the back street). They are gorgeous and I have never been and it be empty, people travel from miles around. The owners are lovely too.
  13. The PCSOs were on an operation, they are having one in every area within the areas they cover from that side of Sheffield each week. So that everyone goes in on mass to be seen tackling any problems the community may have. Parking around schools is a big problem everywhere so they were making sure people were legally parked and keeping the children safe.
  14. thank you for all of your replies...i probably wont say anything to my other half as it shows he was right and I was wrong...and it's usually the other way around with men and women isnt it...haha x
