  1. Do you not know someone with a printer in Woodseats nearby or indeed anywhere in Sheffield that you can email the link to who can then print off your ticket and you go round and collect before the 28th??
  2. I think Radio Sheffield mentioned the Universities were closed
  3. I like Paulette and the shows that she has done in the past. What a load of tosh!!! Making the morning tea for Toby, Steve White etc is not quite the same. I feel sorry for Paulette and hope she gets something else.
  4. Pot kettle black I think real tin pots in the 3rd division come in at about £8-£9m. The reaction above is typical of many Wednesday fans who think the team are too good for League One were too good to go down and belong in the Premiership. Wake up and smell the coffee. Milan promised us Premier League football within 3 seasons instead we got relegated and as fixit mentioned did not always put his hand in his pocket for extra funding for players. Sometimes when he did it was HIS players which did not always go down well with the manager of the time. I am thankfull for Milan in saving us when he came on board but I am not sorry to see him go.
  5. He took it well I have to admit but Weale was at fault but had Howard scored that penalty and we had converted at least one of our many chances we would have been 2 up before they got a goal
  6. Rob Kelly - Sacked Nigel Worthington -Short term contract not taken up on permanent basis even though he helped keep us up Martin Allen -Sacked Gary Megson -Walked out to go to Bolton Ian Holloway -Sacked Nigel Pearson - resigned after finding Sousa had been invited by Milan to both Play-off games Paulo Sousa -Sacked
  7. More than 5!!! Rob Kelly Nigel Worthington Martin Allen Gary Megson Ian Holloway Nigel Pearson Paulo Sousa Sven Goran Eriksson + The Caretaker managers in between some of the sackings/resignations
  8. As I've said before thanks Milan for all your time at City. We never got to your promise of the Premier League but hopefully with the Investors you have passed us onto we will get there, with a decent manager and a decent squad once Sven gets some players in once the transfer window opens in January. You Owls are in for an up and down ride now if these last few years are anything to go by. We have a few surplus players who will do well at League One Level so don't be surprised to see some City players heading your way. Uncle Milan does have a habit of involving himself with player recruitment, sometimes for the good, but more often for the worst which has been a sore point between him and the various managers he has taken on in his time at City. He may give Irvine until January to see how it goes, but if there are not signs of possible promotion by then he will be looking out for a replacement IF he hasn't got one in mind already. You'll get used to his accent by the way and beware any local journalists - don't wind our Milan up because he will cut you dead. BYE BYE MILAN. :wave:THE KING IS DEAD. LONG LIVE THE KING (even though this one will no doubt be from Thailand)
  9. According to Radio Sheffield who interviewed Professor White from the Uni there were about 30-40 of them and the Uni have promised not to take any action against those involved as long as there is no damage done. The Students are a bit radical though as the Professor has said that they have asked for................... a hoover:surprised
  10. Milan's still the man according to John Gath in this newspaper report
  11. Look like it's still our Milan who is trying to get the Owls on the cheap;) http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/Exclusive-Mandaric-offer-rejected-by.6625907.jp Does not surprise me at all Milan having denied any interest last Friday and then these reports come out. Milan will not pay any more than he needs to. He came out in support of Sousa on Tuesday/Wednesday and sacked him on the Friday of the same week.
  12. I'll always be grateful to Milan for saving City from the fate that Wednesday currently face as although we were not in Admin at the time we were close by all accounts and as we had previously gone into Admin it could have spelled disaster for us. He put his money in and guaranteed the debts (sounds familiar eh) and then tried to get us promoted only to end up getting us relegated due to his fallout with Manager after Manager. He probably did interfere too much but fortunately he stuck by Nigel Pearson though and got us promoted and to the edge of the Premiership but he was after Nigel to sign a contract during last season only for Nigel to wait, probably to see if we managed to get promotion, which seriously ticked Milan off - so much so that he invited Paulo Sousa to the Play-off Semi at The Walkers in May. This season he already has sacked Sousa so Irvine might as well start packing his bags. He likes to buy HIS own players and many a Leicester manager had to put up with players Milan wanted OR leave. Be prepared for a merry-go-round and his face all over the local media once he hands in his notice as LCFC Chairman. So goodbye Milan thanks for everything and if I do bump into you in Sheffield once you move here I will shake you by the hand.
  13. You gotta hand it to Yeates..... oh hang on he handed it us:D Thanx Mark about the best thing you ever did at The Walkers for us and as for sticking your finger up to us home fans when you scored your 2nd goal are you that pathetic you feel you had to do this. Glad you never signed permanently for us. Looks like you've found your natural home. As for that timewaster Simmonson (amongst others including Reid who got booked for it) who was wasting time as soon as the 2nd half started I was so pleased Steve Howard scored that penalty not just because it gave us a lucky point but cos it wiped the smile off Simmonson's face
  14. absolute crackers the lot of you are" said the SF Mod who has been viewing the thread for the past few days. "I think we will close this down again unless we get assurances that............
