  1. yeah it has been opened, my friend made a small glass box clean room so we could open it inside to reduce the whole dust problem, to see what was going on, my intentions are to try find out what the drive make / model it is with the hope of using another drive as a doner drive.. 70% chance it prob wont work but im wanting to give it a shot.. need to either find another matching drive.. or some sort of hardware that you could just take the disk out of for it to read in a new / different drive or something?
  2. ok first off the hdd is dead, and the arm side with the little bits on the end are the problem as it was dropped and there all now bent out of shape.. secondly the drive has no sticker on the front with the info.. on the bottom theres a small circle with a square in the middle with these numbers around the 4 sides of it, 13GO832 - not too sure if its a 0 or a O in the middle.. then theres 6343 and 228 and B424QE on the very end theres 2 bar codes, one says VDR 410 and the other says T7C0U4SJ and the only other bits i can remember is that the drive came out of a freecom 250gig classic usb2 hdd enclosure.. like in the link below.. http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/-/671/878/-/3436254/Freecom-Classic-250GB-3-5-External-USB2-0-Hard-Drive-Black/Product.html?searchtype=genre http://www.freecom.com/ecproduct_detail.asp?ID=2734&CatID=8020&sCatID= http://www.amazon.co.uk/Freecom-Classic-250GB-External-Black/dp/B000UVP7MK
  3. you could try freezing it.. when my partner chucked my 250gig usb drive across the room it had the same probs, very loud constant clicking noise with the nasty grinding when it starts up, i put it in the freezer for a few hours, tried it again and it worked for about 2 hours which was enough to back the data up.. they say between a hour and 24 hours in a zip bag to stop condensation.. might be worth a try?
  4. if your phone was unlocked properly, then no amount of firmware updating should lock it back to its network.
  5. or just download a codec pack if you dont want to use another media player...
  6. if its free del then ill take a tube would it be ok to pay for it when it gets delivered like the dvd's before? would be really helpfull thanks
  7. Hi there.. just wondering if anyone has any arctic silver compound in the s20 area they may not need.. as i cant get out anywhere to buy some and i dont know what else to do as i think our processor may need re-doing.. anyone in the s20 area that may have some at all?

  9. ive found 7 quicker and easier to use than vista.. if your pc is fast enough why not just try it? if you dont like it just go back...
  10. If you cant get into the system settings to format it, there aint a lot you can do other than sending it back to nintendo to fix it..
