  1. Rehome or Sale? Sale Reason for Rehome / Sale? I am wanting to sell these two beautiful brothers. They are 12 weeks old. I think they are Fancy Rats. We have very quickly realised that the time needed to take care of them and the patience needed to help them to become used to people is more than we can give as a family. I feel terrible to do this, hence the reason I am wanting them to go to someone who knows how to handle rats and will give them a good home. One is grey and white, with black eyes., he seems to be much more laid back, although a little timid. The other one is mainly all white but with an unusual brownish nose and red eyes. He is much more curious and active. We think hes the dominant one. We named them Dandelion and Burdock but obviously they haven't had their names long so could be changed. I am selling them together and will not separate them under any circumstances. The cage I am selling is practically brand new as we got it with the rats. I have also got (also new) a wooden boxed bed, a hammock, food dish, water bottle, a couple of toys and food. Like I've said, we will be sad to see them go so I need to know they have gone to someone who can put the time into them that they really need. Sale Amount? £100.00 Location? Sheffield S6, Wisewood area Has the Pet been in Rescue Previously? No Can the animal be picked up and put into a basket without the risk of scratching or biting? Not yet, still young and need hand taming. I have been bitten by one of them in the first week of getting them. Age & Sex? 12weeks Breed/ Mix? Fancy Rats Colour/coat type? One grey and white with black eyes, one mostly white with brownish nose and red eyes Can the animal be groomed/handled without biting or scratching? Not yet, most likely over time. Live in / out? Inside Neutered/spayed? No Chipped? No Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues? No Temperament? One seems more laid back and timid, the other seems to be more active and curious Vaccinated & Wormed? No Any special knowledge needed? Would prefer to sell to a present or previous rat owner General Information you can share? Please read above reasons for sale. Thanks
  2. Exactly what I was thinking laineyiow! I was thinking of arranging some sort of letter Medusa, but dont fancy my mum having to pay anything out as she has no money herself, and isnt well either so all this hasnt been good for her. This is why I have been trying to do alot of it for her, but I havent ever arranged a funeral before, never mind one as confusing as this. But I have to admit, I think posting on here has helped confirm a few ideas I had anyway. So thanks again to you all
  3. thanks laineyiow! To make it even more confusing, the Housing Association have they have lost (or cant find!) his next of kin details on their system because when they moved from paper to electronical documents, they lost quite a few! They have also said that they are assuming his mother is next of kin! Mad isnt it?
  4. Thank you for your replies. No there isnt a will, but there are certain things he owned ie. his car. But the housing association where he lived, are saying the next of kin has to end his tenancy, and the next of kin is the only one theyre are letting into the property to clear it and collect his belongings. But his car keys were passed to my mum by the police This is why we're confused!
  5. Hi I am sorry to say but I am not a regular on the forum, but i am in desperate need of some advice. So if there any kind people on here that would help me, that would be great! My mum’s partner of 15 years has passed away suddenly He never had kids, and hadn’t seen his mother in 10 years. The problem is that even though he was with my mum for 15 years, they had always lived separately. When he was found dead the police came to tell my mum and left her with a few of his belongings. They never told his own mother. So we have all assumed that she (my mum) has been given the role of his next of kin. My mum next week is about to go to register his death and arrange his funeral, because we have spoken to his mother and she is happy for my mum to do this, as she feels my mum knew him better. The thing is I am worried that my mum isn’t the legal person to be able to do all this. We are very confused about it all, because why would the police have given my mum all the details and his belongings otherwise? My family are very distressed at the moment and we would just like to be able to arrange his funeral and grieve properly for him, but at the same time, I don’t want my mum getting into any sort of trouble If anybody can give us some advice, this would be really appreciated! Thanks
  6. Thanks for your contact details Tereaza! I've pm'ed you. x

  8. Hi, I have experience myself in flower arranging, so I was going to do my own flowers for my wedding but I decided I couldnt be bothered with the hassle, so I wanted someone to do mine cheap as I knew how much fresh flowers really cost from wholesalers. I found a lovely florist on Langsette road, Hillsborough called 'Libby Rose Flowers.' She is making me 6 buttonholes (mens) 2 other buttonholes (womans) 3 bridesmaids boquets and then a boquet for me. This has cost me £150. I dont know if your local, but she does deliver. You definatley get the service with a smile there! x
  9. Hi everyone! At the moment, I'm in the process of setting up a wedding planner service. My main problem is I would like a little bit more experience before fully going ahead with my buisness. I have planned my own wedding, and still adding to it, as I'm getting married myself on the 15th August this year (very excited!!!). Also I started off doing floristry and worked in a flower shop for a few years, so I 've done a few arrangements for friends at their weddings. I have just qualified in a wedding and event management course, so I do have skills in this area. I just need to put my skills to practice... So, if anyone is needing any help in planning their wedding, I am willing to provide you with my time and extra effort, for free of charge!!!
