  1. yes as regards city rd cars i would recommend, it bought a car from them about a year ago no probs.Same as before good back up and nice people.
  2. really vw do an absolute pile of rubbish better go outside and check mine then
  3. They have just done it in South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and thats public sector, it was an absolute sham, many of the posts on here are right ,they re-employ people under false circumstances , what we should be doing( if we were good managers that is )is recruiting people', im sick and tired of all these private sector posts, quote we have been doing it for years blah blah yes and thats the trouble with the private sector all cut throat ,all me me me, not interested in workers rights, not interested in conditions of service etc. just productivity, which i agree is important but so is the rights of the individual ,a fine balance is required its called good management.
  4. No one is surprised look at the NHS upside down and pyramid comes to mind
  5. Read the booklet, they achieved 55% within 6mins, now as a member of the public forget all the bull??? i want them to sustain this or better this ,how can they do this by reducing staff ? and what sort of incidents do they attend ?you sound like management to me.
  6. Absolutely bang on ,even if you do respond they will manipulate whatever you say, its all about cutbacks, they have just lost a appliance at Elm Lane and Darnall ,thats 56 jobs and there are more proposed cuts, the public of South Yorkshire pay there council tax for a service so why cant they have a decent one? They even have a department called corporate comms to put spin on everything thats where your money goes .
  7. re this sham its all a con, go along and ask them where has all the money gone?ill give you a few starters 1; technical rescue unit /dearne station (millions)2;CARPS 3;support staff increase of 25%4t;the strike ,these are just a few infact if hes there ask steve chu how much hes on a year rumour has it its £72 000 and as for shutting mansfield rd and darnall and opening a new one at birley why ? mansfield rd covers birley and its boundrys at the moment so it doesnt need a fire station its all in the spin in other words lets tell them there getting a brand new fire station (costing millions by the way ) then they will think we are brilliant in reality its all a con to get rid of firefighter posts by blaming cuts from government when its the mismanagement of funds by the fire authority (ask them how much there on)and fire officials resources are at an all time low if you keep cutting and cutting them one day you will phone 999 and be put on a stacking system.so go along and question them its your money and your service.
  8. i travel at 40 on this road because i want to, if you need to go faster ,simple overtake when safe to do so what exactly are you on about?
  9. Mcdonalds Meadowhall retail park is about 200 yds away from aldi and yes i would object even more if this is the trick they have up their sleeves.
  10. Do we really need another supermarket in Ecclesfield ? What about the businesses around there they will loose out to aldi and whats the fast food chain going to be? I know this is besides the point but is this all we can produce in this country ? supermarkets, i would not object if say rollem was expanding in Ecclesfield with more jobs and a better future for the present generation but hey yet again like the banks money talks not jobs and a future, ill bet they are not building a morrisons in some suburb of Berlin and whats the alleged consultation letter all about? does it mean "we have told you about it so thats ok we can build it" i urge the people of Ecclesfield to object if only on moral grounds.
