She went to look round both the High School and Westbourne and she chose Westbourne, and she started there last Monday. It had more similarities to Brantwood than the High School did. We've had a few tears but she's a strong girl and once she's found her feet and has got herself established she will be ok. I had Mrs Bland too, I always thought she was scarey until she was my teacher and then she was lovely. When my daughter started in 2003 there was quite a few of the old faces still there, but they've slowly retired over the last few years.

Yes it was the same Mrs Timmins the English teacher, she became deputy head after Mrs De La Torre left and then was standing head after Mrs Barnes left.(who took over the role from Mrs Swynnerton) She was head for a year and then retired. I was a Brantwood pupil from 1980-1991 and I loved the school that much that I sent my daughter there. She was in Y6 when it sadly shut down. She is missing Brantwood so much and talks about it every day.. Its so sad that she couldn't continue her education there.
