Many wireless devices collect infomation about the user and their operating environment. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is
suppose to allow the user to request data from the device manufacturer.Â
As an example a BBC click presenter had a robot vacuum cleaner controlled by an app on his smartphone. He took the vacuum cleaner to
university specialising in investigating this type of device. Apparently the cleaner shares infomation (eg location, room size etc)Â with
over 50 companies.
Now go and get a TV license.Â

Windows 10 Version 1903 was released a few days ago, the link below says how to get it.
Probably the most important feature for home users is updates can be delayed.Â
If you go for the update, take the usual precautions: backup all your data, and have plenty of free disc space.
The update took around 2 hours 30 minutes on my W10 laptop.Â
To check your current W10 Version:
Right-click the start-button
Click Run
Enter 'winver' (without the quotation marks)
Hit the Return key (A message window should be displayed)Â

Check-out the Climate Change Tracker, see how well countries are doing to meet the notional 2 degree celsius target.
Notice that Russia, USA & Saudi Arabia are doing sod all. The upshot being the planet will probably zip past the 3 celsius mark.Â
