  1. We were with British Gas home care for 28 years never had a problem. we only changed because we needed a new boiler theirs were a bit on the dear side. At this time of year they are very busy, so, take what you are offered. Next year book your service in the summer when they are not so busy.
  2. My husband had one fitted yesterday in Rotherham General Hospital. He was there at 8am home by 4.30pm. Everything went well touch wood. he had a good night's sleep he was up bright and early this morning as usual. He has been given a monitor that he keeps in his possession and is plugged into an electrical socket and it relays his heart beat back to the hospital via the mobile phone network all through the night, it's the size of a smart phone see the link below. https://www.biotronik.com/en-ch/products/crm/transmitter/cardiomessenger-smart He says the doctors and nurses were absolutely brilliant.

  13. Yes Nora, we were all in in Hilda Smith's class and yes!, she could dish it out the the cane. I think the funniest thing about her classes was music, particularly singing. She would start a song by finding the note on that wreck of a piano. Then warble "This your noteeeeeeeeeeee". Rita Heathcote (another name I've just remembered) and I would look at each other and then Rita would have a bad attack of the giggles. Why Hilda never saw us is a mystery. Regards Hi Falls, thank you for your reply. You were right about Janet Hodgett, she lived with her parents and her grandfather Mr. Rice. Last I heard of her she got married and went to Canada. You were also right about my cousin Joe, sadly he died a couple of years ago. He had two younger brothers Ray and Brian who I have lost contact with,. I never saw or heard from any of our classmates after I left school, you are the first. If you remember any thing else let me know. Cheers.
