  1. Less chance of confrontation I suppose. You never know how angry Mr Car Owner is going to get. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  2. You're fine with people not paying road tax? Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  3. I'm sure I will. Only slight criticism would be that you could do with more staff as we had a bit of a delay to order and then to pay but the food was very good. Decent price too and convenient for my work. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  4. As the public have access, car parks are legally considered roads for the purposes of the Road Traffic Act. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  5. And possibly more than 13.1 miles I'd think? Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  6. I wouldn't think they'd need vans to check. Their system includes a database which can tell them, and the ANPR cameras all over the city show whether the car is in use. I agree though. People should pay their tax like everyone else. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  7. Could be. Someone has driven past us twice slowly with it blaring out and we're in Heeley. They've gone now and all's quiet. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  8. Some tool is driving round in an excessively loud car. Not heard any other music but I've heard that in the area. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  9. Went for lunch a couple of weeks ago. The food was great I have to say. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  10. Already do those things. Can't see why people would just throw good toys away personally. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  11. Hi So here's my thinking. Patio doors are generally a weak point on a house in terms of security. I've upgraded to anti bump/snap locks and upgraded my handles so access to the lock barrel is more difficult but what about the glass? A glazier once mentioned, I think, laminated glass? Glass that if you throw a brick at it would shatter but not go through and would take a massive effort to get through. Has anyone heard of this or have any comments? Google hasn't been my friend on this as I think I'm searching the wrong thing. Any advice, recommendations or prices to replace two door units appreciated! 12. Read it lots of times thanks. 20 years dealing with Rta claims does that for you. The code doesn't give bus drivers the right to pull out whenever you see fit despite what you might think. It says people should give way where possible. Barging out because you're in 40ft of metal without a care is not in the spirit of the code. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  13. That sums up my experience of bus drivers too, particularly the second paragraph. I'm in a massive bus therefore I'll try to pull out and won't care if you want me to. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  14. I looked a while back and found those pawn shop places, such as the one between CEX. and Pizza Hut did the best deals. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  15. You would struggle to find a better star. A total rock star. Utterly gutted I never saw him perform. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  16. It's the road, I believe, that Tesco refuse to deliver to as well. Whilst I don't mean to be alarmist, here are the police crime stats for the roads in the area. You'll see Spring Close View is higher than anywhere else in the area by the looks of things... http://www.police.uk/south-yorkshire/KE2/crime/2014-06/all-crime/locations/
  17. For those interested, a Highway Cabinet Member Decision meeting is being held at 10am on 11 Sept in room G42 at the Town Hall. Members of the public can attend, but must register by calling 2734014, or emailing [email protected] where I assume objections can also be registered. My comments have apparently been lodged. I understand this is the meeting where the scheme will be passed or rejected.
  18. I was happier when it was Bilbo Baggins. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android

  24. I'd agree with that review. Had great food every time I've eaten there. Not Marcos of course but very good pub food. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  25. Great event to remember a great bloke! (He even tolerated Hillsborough with us despite being a Middlesborough fan!) Just to correct Karen though (sorry! ) but to donate by text it's... RFEC50 £5 to 70070 (or whatever amount you'd like to donate). Please support this Sheffield Forum! :-) Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android ---------- Post added 29-08-2014 at 20:12 ---------- I can't get rid of the weird A symbol in the text code. Could a mod maybe edit please?
