  1. Spot on. Aggravated trespass was invented because of raves interestingly enough.
  2. No, I was just starting with that simply because you commented "you say you are..." which to me read as, "I don't believe you". If I'm wrong then sorry, but that's how it read. Anyway, it's nice we agree.
  3. I don't say I am, I am, and have been for 11 years. I really don't want to get technical but there is a difference. He owns the property. It's his own property. He can do as he likes, as long as the public don't have general access to somewhere that could be considered a road within the meanings of the Road Traffic Act. A field isn't a road, and won't be considered a road. This could get really long, so I'll give the shortened version. If you go onto the airport, you will be committing an offence. It could be anything from aggravated trespass, and in fact, check out section 9 of the old theft act 1968, and the definition of burglary - trespass with intent to cause criminal damage to a part of a building classes as burglary. Get a police man annoyed by tearing up and down the runway, and see what they do. Whether the police would charge you with a traffic offence, such as dangerous driving, or criminal damage, or whatever else, would depend on the person's reaction to them. I spent years with police officers charging my clients, and you can guarantee the ones who weren't arrogant and cocky to the officers were always better received. Long story short, it's a bad idea. If you do it, you will be arrested. If you don't believe me or agree, that's absolutely fine. One suggestion for the person asking though, rally days are miles better! Trust me. Nothing finer than whacking a subaru round a forest.
  4. You want an answer from a lawyer? Ok. Yes you can be prosecuted for motor offences on private property, if the public can get general access. You can be prosecuted for drink driving in a pub car park, and thousands have been. It's not the road, but the public have access. Therefore, if you can get access, without comitting aggravated trespass or a similar criminal offence, then the public can also get access, and then you will be breaking traffic laws. Basically, if you think you can get on without damaging anything so can anyone else, and it's not technically a private road.
  5. If you havent got it i'd go yell at Caroline! I've always passed it onto her
  6. I'm Myrtle Drive too...aren't we all?? If your first name is Samantha by any chance, then there's a good chance I'm the one getting your mail! No parcels though.
  7. I love that site. Found it a few months ago. It shows all the games, and no need to pay £50 a month for sky sports!
  8. Hi neighbour! I'm up the road from you on the top of the road. I wonder if its your post I keep getting! The postman keeps giving me post that belongs to someone in the flats
  9. Seen a few ads for the forge club, but is there anywhere near Heeley that does Shotokan? Looking for moderate to advanced rather than beginner (brown belt plus or maybe a little less advanced). Thanks
  10. Not a doctor Im afraid, Im a solicitor. Still a bloke in a suit I suppose! Good to know we have a doctor on the development though in case Im really ill!! I would recommend my own firm but that's always seen as biased. Taylor and Emmett are usually good with property though I never used Pure. I got a really good rate from my own bank, so I went with them, and they were really good.
  11. We've had a fair few problems with bits and pieces around the house, but generally the development is great, really nice people, and despite Wimpey's failings on certain things, it's a great house. Would be interested to know who the other people are on here. You could even be my neighbours and I might not know! Just to add as well, I wouldn't use Wake Smith for the conveyacing - we had a very bad experience with them. I wish I'd done it myself!
