  1. ...and I thought I'd hardly get a reply. I work virtually next door to Pinders so I'll drop in tomorrow and see what they can do for me. Failing that I can stumble up London road. This is all too easy.
  2. Hello All, Anyone know of a t-shirt printers or embroiders in the Sheffield area? As central as possible. I only need a few doing. Someone on here must have had some done once upon a time.
  3. Thanks all, especially Bonny and slh73. Looks like the right place.
  4. Given that I've spent the best part of ten years deciding on whether or not I would be happy to live with a tattoo permanently, I think it's safe to say I've reached a well thought out decision. As for tattoos looking 'hideously common', that really depends on the tattoo, it's whereabouts, and the person. I'm not planning a St George's cross on my forearm. In ten years time I'll probably be very bored of it, but hopefully by then I'll not really care. Thanks for your concern though. Does anyone have any examples of tattoos the Feline has done? The recommendation is appreciated, but seeing is believing.
  5. Did you get your tattoo Loopi? I'm a tattoo virgin and have been trying to find somewhere I like the look of to get my first done (it's one I designed myself, so I'm especially fussy). If anyone has any pics of tattoos they have had done and are really pleased with, please either post it here or mail it to me, especially if it's a black and 'white' tattoo. Some of the places look great, but the tattoos don't look so hot. Thanks
  6. Make yourself at home up here in the North and I'm sure the people will show you the highlights of the M1 corridor nightlife (Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley and Sheffield are all excellent nights out). There are loads of short term house lets available at reasonable prices and B&B starts at around £15-20 a night, if you don't stay at the village. If you're especially nice I'll let you have details of my friends. She has a thing for firemen and Australia, so you could be in luck, but I'll have to see how I go on first.... Look forward to seeing you round the place. Show us all how to do a proper BBQ..... (I forgot to mention - there is always snowboarding available. Although it's not on snow)
  7. Thanks Angie, I've been going through Chapeltown on a regular basis, because I live on the far side of Barnsley at the moment (you're right about a Barnsley night out - definitely better than Sheffield). I'd not really given it much thought before, but I'll definitely take a closer look. Thanks again Si
  8. Hi all, I know this has been asked before but... I'm looking to move to Sheffield as that's where I'm now working. My dilemma is this: Although I know the city centre, I have very little clue about other areas in the city (despite having worked there for a year). Although I would love to move to Dore, like most of the non-millionaire population, I could never afford it. Instead I was thinking of moving to somewhere near to Sheffield as property seems much more reasonably priced. Trouble is I haven't a clue where's hot and where's not. I have roughly 65K to spend and want some opinion on where best to spend it. So please give me your opinions and bare in mind when answering that I'm 26years old, have no family that I'm moving with me and I still like to roll in at 3-4am on a Sunday morning (preferably without worrying the lovely old folks in the local community). So where can I live that's not going to set me back £40 for a taxi home after a night out (as it does now) and is reasonably young, lively and safe? Anyone with particularly inspiring ideas can claim a prize. Thanks Si
