This weekend we are holding a family fun day with all proceeds to meningitis now. There will be lots of things for all the family to do and also adult football team taking part in a 5 a side tournament. Why not pop down and say hello and enjoy the fun and raise awareness and funds for meningitis now.

We have organised a charity fun day in order to raise money for the Meningitis Now charity, a charity that strives on saving lives and rebuilding futures by raising funding for research, awareness and providing support for those unfortunate enough to be affected by Meningitis. We are holding a Meningitis Now charity fun day at Hillsborough arena on Saturday 30th May 2015. There shall be a 16 team 5 a side football tournament on which we still require a few teams. Hi all. I am currently organising a Charity Fund Day for Saturday 30 May 2015. This will be taking place at Hillsborough Arena, Middlewood Road. We are holding a 16 team football tournament and have arranged for some small childrens rides to be present. We would welcome any stalls or face painting etc, the only requirement would be that you make a donation to the charity. Any stalls or ideas considered.

iam asking for forum buddies for your help in our football fun day in Hillsbrough. We are local people from Stannington and this is not to say people in the local community aren’t doing their bit but we all need to raise the profile of the great work we can do to improve children and adults chances of beating meningitis. We are asking for a donation of any sort. Something for a raffle or auction or to provide your companies services on the day for a donation or simply a cash/cheque donation. Also along with the donation we would like to provide a team on a match day to do a bucket collection for this charity at swfc and sufc in the coming months. Event will include a 16 team 5 a side tournament and fun day for the families who attend. We are looking to hold two race nights and also have other ideas in the pipeline. WHY DO THIS..... Well we have just returned from Egypt and was asked by a bar owner was asking for donations for a family from Wigan (the Gee family) who lost their daughter at a really young age. We have a venue all we request is a donation or raffle prize to our campaign for meningitis now. We have returned from a holiday i June 2014 from Egypt and saw a brave mother in the bar and the owner telling us how she lost her little girl 9yrs ago. While we were there my brother in law was overcome with emotion and gave all his holiday money to Meningitis Now Charity. This is when we all decided as a family to contribute to meningitis and hold a football fun day. We also have a race night in november at the everest pub handsworth and other various other nights/events organised for February.
