  1. Whos this then?? pikeys? who stole what land? what are you on about, which grand estates?
  2. exactly!change of use by the protesters, in fact mis-use by them not the cathedral! they should be evicted as tresspassers who have erected a shanty style development and it shouldnt be allowed, i would like to see what would happen if they pitched their pathetic tents on Fargate?????? in fact shall we all pitch tents where the hell we like?? what about the peace gardens? barkers pool anyone?
  3. why? the cathederal dont want them there either? they are there without permission, i grant you that the cathedral have not applied to have them moved but i would put money on it that they do, this is also a public space which is being made to look like a third world slum shanty town:loopy: hardly the best advert for business to come to the city centre???
  4. not sure if thats right but i think they still need a temporary license or certificate of safety.............but shant be holding my breath for them leaving before then as this council or police dont have the balls to do anything about it:loopy::loopy:
  5. for a development! as this is far more than just a tent, this is change of use also. thought that was obvious:confused:
  6. :suspect:just wondered have they got planning permission ?? for this site, change of use?? one rule for all eh? i have just got a council enforcement notice for something fairly small compared to this large pile of detrious, and not far from the occupy site, so maybe i should use that in my case or just point out to the planning dept?? maybe environmental health ought to get involved also?
  7. :suspect:seems its all gone quiet Tony!!! we asked some questions of one or two posters ......and pfft they have gone....wonder why?
  8. as i understand it if its an approved apprentice scheme with some college attendance the ctc credits still apply whilst on the course.
  9. they arnt even council lawyers they are just council tax officers, i did ask to go into court once, you should have seen their faces they didnt know what to do:hihi: and it was quickly sorted out:hihi:
  10. never heard of that, i just spoke to council officials, all they actually do is apply for a "liability" order which basically means you are liable to pay the rates on time within the financial year, the only time costs come into it is if you default on what you arranged after the financial year.
  11. do not worry about it i have done it twice when a bit behind with business rates, they will not put you in court unless you refuse to pay if you go to the court house you will sort it in 5 mins with a council official i assure you, although you should be able to sort it over the phone if you are in front unless you have ignored previous reminders. they usually say if the amount owing is paid before the end of the financail year they waive any fees they supposedly incurred. as for court judgements it would have to go way way further along the line to get to that stage. hope it helps
  12. dont worry about it even if they do send you a summons to court, just attend at the given time, you wont get anywhere near a judge or court, there are council officials there in a side room and they will sit you down and make an arrangement to pay an amount that you can afford. its an ongoing system to try and frighten people into paying before they need too.
  13. so line the independants then:loopy: as per their "manifesto" not the chains from capitalism:mad: ahh but its too easy to cross the road to Starcrap and mc fatty:loopy:
  14. ok good you are self made then?? good on you, like me so we arnt that far apart so whats the business?? i like to do some networking its good for the whole community, might be in need of your services....you never know;)
  15. no thankfully and not my friend either:P
  16. good for you:thumbsup: i do hope however that you are taking full advantage of our current tax system?? and taking divis instead of a wage of 3k per week?
  17. Really:o:o care to enlighten us, what sort of "business"? is it a real one or one funded by the tax payer:hihi: dont need specifics just ball park??
  18. not often i agree with you but on this:thumbsup:
  19. eee awww eee aww! i didnt say training in IT was "thinking out of the box" i said that doing things like actually getting off your ass gets you much further than whining and complaining, which incidentally you seem to do on every thread you post on, as for loser ok your opinion i dont really care, apart from what i do every day is provide employment for many and i reap the rewards for being a nasty capitalist......but you dont like that do you??? by the way what did you do this week:suspect:
  20. :hihi: just this one thanks why would i need any other?
  21. :hihi:my god there are some seriously chipped shoulders on here, one is an ass......sorry a donkey, petty jealousy of someone who made his life better by trying and thinking out of the box, you negative posters really are the sad ones, the original OP was not gloating as far as i could see, just your twisted logic makes him a tory bully boy:hihi: well i think its pretty obvious who the losers are on this thread:gag: and will probably stay losers
  22. just ignore the jealousy Tony!! as i said lots on here are expecting everything to come to them without the effort...... right off to do another 12 hr day to keep the unwashed paid !
  23. good on you its a pity more of the wasters in this country, outside sheffield cathedral and on this forum dont get of their A***s and do something about their situation, pay attention"occupy"!! thats the way to get on not expect everything given on a plate!
  24. it simply means they have no real commitment to the cause.....basically its a bit of a jolly for them to bash the capitalists when it suits before they go back to their nice warm homes for tea:confused:
