Skateboarders around sheffield are viewed as trouble by most of the general public however if people take the time to look deeper into it you will see its a form of art and its keeps people off the corners. For those of you who are open minded the skate scene around sheffield have put togther a full length video where plenty of sheffield is to be seen throughout. The link below is a trailer for the film and the Premiere of the film is on 5th March at the lescar Pub on eccy road at 8:30 Show your support for 3 years of hard work and come down have a drink and watch the film im sure you will all be suprised at the amount of effort and deadication that has gone into making this video over the last few years.

abit uncalled for, Lived in stocksbridge 19 years and found that people from stocksbridge do more than alot of other places. take places like pitsmoor and parsons cross for example. Area like that where people are knopwn for burning down anything that comes on there " turf" However Buses in stocksbridge have been really **** latley 3 buses in the past week have broke down on the way to stocksbridge all seem to be stagecoach buses.

im at work and cant access the councils website for some reason. as i work closely with the council in anti social behaviour groups around south yorkshire i would really like an outcome which makes them able to have a back bone when it comes to been fair.

the whole contry been a joke bit is figure of speech the whole contry is not acctually a joke but city centre tits are in sheff as they dont do anything. and this is what im getting at they do nothing ive watched them stand there while little kids get mugged for the mobile and then say ... well there was no risk involved so you will have to inform the police yourselves...with what that guy just robbed my phone... ahh there is a pay phone at top of the hill.... that is the **** im talking about there is no need for it at all why employee them to sit at dev green all day when they have nothing to do apart from tell the people who are there for a reason that they are in the wrong.

its quite dangerous when its like 20 mixed females and males all ranting at one guy and then end of it if it would have come to a fight it would have been fun cause i would love to knock them out but im abit more civilised than that!

supposably they are there to stop anti social behaviour ... but they cant arrest anyone or do anything other than stand in the middle of it. its <removed> and we are wasting money on these fools with no bloody direction in life... god damn it im a tax payer and pay for there job role now i want to see something for my money

this is what i mean its a complete waste of goverment money as i know they are on at least £8 an hour...for doing what exacltey its disgraceful. dev green area is my local as ive been skating there for 9 years like a say and the police dont come down there that often anymore its up to the ambassadors to handle things and its just disgusting.

Yesterday i was layed on the grass around devonshire green skatepark with a couple of friends when all of a sudden a group of angry horrible mouthy and very rude set of 14 too 18 year old emo kids all started to been very abusive towards myself and my friends i thought i would go and try and calm the situation down by going over and talking too them insted this turned into a major argument with the group of random kids and myself this then escalated into them starting to try fighting with the people i was sat with as i was sat with 4 girls and there was around 20 of these kids i decided to step in and try to sort the situtaion out again as one of the males involved in the argument started to threaten all the females with "kicking thier <removed> heads in" all the time this was going on there were a city centre ambassador around 10 feet away doing absolutly nothing apart from laughing at the situation, i find this disgraceful and very frightening that someone who is ment to keep our city secure was doing nothing to help calm the situtation. ive been going down to devonshire green for around 9 years skateboarding and over the last 3 years these "ambassadors" have got more and more jokes for a job. A few people i know have video footage of one of them taking alcohol off one set of people on the grass and then handing it over too the alcoholics and the local group of people who sit there causing trouble. I would like to make a formal complain about these "security" but i cant find anywhere that would deal with my complaint i am wondering if anyone else has any idea of where to contact someone about this, i would also like to hear other peoples views on this.
