What has changed since 2010 is the Libdem seats were mainly taken by the Tories. UKIP took votes off everyone without gaining seats and the SNP destroyed Labour in Scotland. That spending spree in 2009/2010 destroyed Labours credibility to manage the economy and handing LD seats to the Tories means that the mountain they have to climb is so much higher. Labour might well get another million votes in 2020, but unless they get those votes in seats they don't already hold they will be in opposition for a very long time.

If you can't afford to pay the minimum wage in the UK move your business to Macdonia where the minimum wage is 131 Euros/month, along with a no strike clause and a 10 year tax free status.

The place to manufacture is Eastern Europe. Wages are around 1/3 of those you have to pay in the UK. Some of the governments will guarantee you a no strike deal if you shift a UK business to their country, and you can have a 10 year tax free window to operate. Being in the EU you can also ship anywhere in within the EU without fear to import tariffs, taxes or quotas. It is also cheaper to export to Germany and the other major markets of mainland Europe if you don't have to put goods on a ship.
