  3. A big thanks for your help, but I didn't think your post was crap, just a repeat of what you have told us all many times before. Telling me to shove it isn't your style, think about it and may be apologise !
  4. Too true cuttsie, but you have said it before it's now getting boring ! I don't think many Unitedites will be losing any sleep or getting depressed about what you have just said.
  5. No comment as yet from Chris Wilder re his visit to Riyadh for a chat with the Prince ??
  6. Come on lads, must be something to post about !
  7. Read through all posts and not seen mentioned the experience I've had during my treatment for Prostate Cancer. I am under the hospital at Chesterfield. On Wednesday I had a camera inserted up my penis which like the camera is very small !!!! No blockage I was told, an appointment forthcoming to explore further options. I had that procedure around 3 years ago with 3 male nurses in the room. On Wednesday there 3 young female nurses present. No problem, I will put up with anything if it extends my life by a few more years PS I have been drinking a glass of let down Pomegranite juice first thing in the morning Found that advice on the web, does it help, I don't know, but it tastes OK
  8. Good morning folks. Respect your interest, but do realise that are 1000's of folks, me being one of them, who have no interest in that very good looking lady !
  9. In reply to the above from SCC 5 Weirs Walk still closed side of Smelting Co. as said there is no funding for repair HOWEVER. On the 5 Weirs Walk between Stevenson Road and East Coast Road there has been a new tarmac surface laid How much for that out of the no funding available ?
  10. Ex Barnsley and West Brom manager gone from Watford Watford are about to name there 1000th manager in the last 2 seasons !
  11. Dedication Alex, well done ! My dedication left me about 30 years ago !
  12. My dear Irene. You have got me wrong in a big way, in fact you have picked on me as a victim of your continual rants on this Forum.
  13. Hey up The DADDY and hackey lad. Don't come on here often and when I do, MAYHEM ! Thanks for your comments
  14. Read the 1st line of my post please !
  15. I was giving advice not asking for it. Read my post again ! A typical answer from somebody i.e. your self, who doesn't read my post correctly and at the same time gets ones knickers in a twist. In no way am I blaming anyone neither am I wallowing in the past. You are trying to make an argument out of what I said. No need to hand in my driving licence, all motorists are oblivious at times to road signage, suppose you are the perfect driver ! I won't be proceeding in answering again. Meanwhile pick on somebody else on the Forum !
  16. No excuses, me driving in the city with my eyes shut and I go through a bus gate and obviously get fined ! Perhaps some information / advice for those of you who dare enter the city centre, something I very rarely do. I came down Rockingham Street, turned left onto Charter Row and went across the junction top of The Moor and down Furnival Gate. After receiving the fine notice I had a walk up there the other day. There's no advance warning of the bus gate on Rockingham Street and the first warning sign is just before the junction at the top of The Moor. There is on the road in large white letters BUS GATE at the junction. I should have turned left up Pinstone Street, then a left on Cross Burgess Street to the end, then right up Cambridge Street to access Division Street. I'm aware of the bus gate on Arundel Gate just before the Novotel and I don't go anywhere near The Wicker. Lesson learned, do you drive into the city. if you do then don't anymore. I've been driving 56 years and remember the days when you could drive almost anywhere in the city centre. Dare the council introduce anymore restrictions on driving inn the city centre, wouldn't put it past them.
  17. First I have heard of that meeting and I keep a close eye on social media or were my eyes not close enough !
  18. How much do these developers look into the problems that do arise and do they think of the potential benefits ? Will there be on site some shops selling essential goods. ? What schools are there close by. ? Are they short of pupils or oversubscribed because of their size. ? Will there be a REALISTIC survey of the increase in traffic and the effect on that Loxley Road and the road junction at Malin Bridge ? Is housing development in that location wanted ? Lots of questions to be answered to the satisfaction of folks who have concerns. Do we finish up with a development that has failed to satisfy any of the above ?
  19. Shops nearby, none !!! Schools nearby, none !!!!!!!!! More traffic, of course !!!!!!!!! Could have all been levelled and a green space gained for a better use !!!!
  20. My particular interest is bicycles, although I do look around at other things on offer Your sensible opinions please, because I believe a lot of things advertised have been stolen !
  21. When that time came when either your Dad influenced you or your own preference for a team happened, you never realised what an emotional roller coaster you were about to embark on.
  22. As a youngster, there was an old chap lived in the same yard, he must have been well over 80. He knew that me and my dad were Unitedite's as he had been. He fascinated me with tales of Bill Foulke, Nudger Needham, Billy Gillespie and others and how he had watched the return of the lads in the photo.
  23. if Kelvin's gone, I might start posting again on the football section. But I don't believe he has gone, somebody has found out who he really is and where he lives and has currently got him kidnapped in the players dressing room at Bramall Lane. When he's redecorated the room he will be released.
