  1. I lived there over 10 year ago, literally in the upper-floor flat (next to the bus stop and above the property agency) displayed in the photo of the news. Obviously it is not the best area in Sheffield, but at that time the criminal rate was not too bad. Things may have changed in the last few years.
  2. I think the point is why they do not use a vacuum cleaner or something similar to suck up the rubbish, but just blow the litter away from the pavement.
  3. Jumping off the bridge? Again? Hope everything is all right now.
  4. I walked along the Furnival Gate on Saturday, and found nearly all shops were closed. The re-location of the marketplace to the Moor doesn't seem to help this area that much.
  5. I completely agree. Given what happened on the Ski Village in the last few years, I wonder who would have so much confidence to invest any hard-gained money on this site.
  6. Maybe they have moved a bit south. We have seen more birds in our area S20.
  7. The last time we visited Odeon was about 15 years ago. The screen was too small.
  8. The barber shop keeper must have lost his mind. Why would he turn your business away?
  9. I used this council service once, back some 12 years ago. They promised to send someone to my next door neighbour, but never turned up.
  10. OMG! Never thought before that people would steal these fence panels. Who would they sell them to?
  11. I agree completely. Too many traffic lights around the University of Sheffield and the West Street. Some of them are not much used by the pedestrians.
  12. I wish they would extend this offer to all residents in Sheffield, and I'd like an apple tree in my garden.
  13. Used to live on Collegiate Crescent more than ten years ago, and at that time we had plenty space to park, but now I can hardly find any.
  14. Thanks for the detailed schedule. I need to visit a friend in the Moor on Sunday, but now think I'm better off postponing it to next week.
  15. The morning traffic was horrible yesterday towards the city centre. Fortunately I was driving towards the M1.
  16. Good idea! Otherwise these skills for baking home-made bread would be lost in the next decades. My mum didn't know how to make bread, as far as I remember, neither does my wife or my mother-in-law. We seem to be very much dependent on the supermarket to supply them nowadays.
  17. Rum .... and raisin ice cream is my favourite
  18. Having just been to the Newcastle Cathedral on our way back from Edinburgh, I loved the idea that they have set up a peaceful corner for children to read and draw.
  19. Hi Sue, don't pay Mr.Site to optmise your site. It might only take you a few days to learn how to do it yourself.
  20. From my web design experience, your website will need to be optimised for the keyword "cat sitting Sheffield'. I've just been on your site, and there are a few areas you might improve immediately. First of all, there is no H1 (Heading 1) tag or Title tag with the desired keyword. Secondly, the page url for 'Cat Sitting' is currently set as "page4.htm", and it would be much SEO friendly to be 'cat-sitting.htm', to let Google and other search engines know that this page is about 'Cat Sitting'. Noticed that you used 'MrSite' to create your web pages, and you might be able to find how to make these changes by referring to its user manual.
  21. God! Why would someone do this evil stuff?
  22. Roast them for some half an hour, then slice and stir-fry them with some chilli. Taste nice.
  23. You might try Sainsburys. They have a very limited range for the Japanese ingredients.
  24. Toasted Lemon Soup tossed with Decadent Rice and Shellfish :-) sounds yummy
