Its do-able rather easily, there's a fascia panel you can buy, did one in an X-Type not long ago.

These seem like opportunists rather than knowing what they were doing.

Not unless you know what your doing it couldnt, they cant even send a live down the ignition wire because the immobiliser on it will still not allow it to start when power is at the starter motor itself. The ECU controls another signal along the engine's electrics & the lack of compaitable immobiliser chip causes the PATS system to do its job.

Tip is to upgrade your security then, before its too late. No point saying you were going to do it when its too late. Same for anyone that doubts there security. Do something about it now! I live in S12, i have a lovely suprise for anyone that should arrive in my house un-announced.

Hi, Not sure if this thread is in the correct place but i need a bolt hole repairing/re-building on my Ford Zetec engine. Im thinking of having it aluminium welded & re-drilled & tapped, or having it drilled & helicoiled. Can anyone recommend somewhere that does this at a reasonable price? Thanks, Mike.
