Does anyone know what the policy will be in regards to taking your own 'refreshments' onto the devonshire green. Say one was to take a picnic. And that picnic included a 2ltr bottle of 'pop'... would that be frowned upon at all??

Might be able to help with this side of things. I'm not a pro but can handle my own in building small sites. I'd be interested in this. Used to be half decent at basketball but haven't played for years and years so depends what level of skill people are thinking about. I guess playing in a local league will be playing against people who have played regularly for years so the standard will be pretty high though. I'm fairly new to sheffield and am looking for something like this to meet people and absolutely love playing basketball so would be interested in more info.

Personally, when I stopped, I found it best to not be too strict on myself. If I was out drinking and fancied one, or if I fancied a pack while I was out, I would have them and it gradually got to the point where I was having less and less to the point that it wasn't worth it. After I fully stopped I didn't touch one for years but now i have the occassional one while i'm out drinking, but it doesn't concern me as I never fancy one the next day when I sober up.

Hi, Does anyone have any reccomendations for a nice and preferably cheap-ish place to eat in the city centre on a thursday night. Been looking round online to see if I can find anywhere with offers on or something but not had much luck. Any help would be much appreciated.
