Anyone know of any land with permission in rotherham? My mates a kean huntsman and I recently bought a tench regulated bsa ultra and we are looking for some land to shoot pigeons and rabbits on a shoot to eat basis and maybe ferral pigoens/rats

‎2 kennels wanted at a secure, established dog boarding centre in the Rotherham area. General care of the dogs/kennels will be met by ourselves 7days a week. Payment will be made in a months advance. Hopefully long term space needed after a trial month. The required space if for business use only with excellent references available if required. Thanks

Can anyone recommend a good vet that will give a large gsd a once over and vaccinations. Took him to my usual vet and although he was muzzled he still wanted to kill the vet and she was terrified. Could do with getting to know an experience vet that he can get to know and trust as he is a lovely dog just hates vets =S

Didn't realise that John Hopewells at Maltby did raw frozen but they do lol Been going there for ages to pick up their own brand of hypoallergenic working dry complete. They do minced chicken, tripe and beef for £13 in 30 1lb pouches for anyone interested and its good quality too.

Thanks for your lengthy reply, I know exactly where you're coming from with the calm moment before he erupts. I found this when working on his recall a few months back and managed to get him back to me before he locked onto anything. I have tried most of the distraction techniques and even his ball drops out of his mouth to free him up to bark. The only thing you mentioned that does work is walking out of the path of the other dog or having him heel and down before he erupts but as we work closely with other dogs and handlers its not an option to walk away. I will hopefully find someone who can work out whats going on in his head and hopefully he will soon lose his 'scrapyard dog' nickname and behave around other dogs lol
