Hi I got my 3gs 8gb officially unlocked by a letter saying it was unlocked and needed to be updated by itunes. When I connected it to itunes it the upgradation/unlocking failed and it gave 1015 error, which is recovery loop error. The phone was software unlocked previously and was with cydia software on it. It now stuck on the restore screen asking to connect the iphone to itunes but everytime it gives the same 1015 error at the end. If someone can help me, I will be grateful.

Thanks for all the suggestions but it is still the same. can anyone tell me is it possible to reinstall/upgrade the firmware etc. Soft reboot and hard reboot had no effect.
