Had mine valued at Morris Bywaters on Pinstone Street. -
Hi S4 covers a large area. Grimesthorpe, Pagehall between Northern General and Meadowhall. I used to live in S4 in the late 90s. My husband was born there. Like most places in Sheffield it has its good and bad bits. Never did us any harm.

This one is fantastic. My daughter has been going there for about three years. She used to go to the one at Greenhill they do a young group and then an older one up to about 12. My daughter now goes to their youth theatre up at Nethergreen School. She has been in a couple of their yearly productions and always enjoys them. They also do a kind of parents evening and invite you to get involved so that you can see what kind of work they do. Her confidence is much higher now and she has made a lot of friends both at Greenhill and Fulwood. Nick the drama teacher is fantastic with the children. The fees are worked out on a term basis and the classes run in term time.

Doesn't sound too clever if your losing sensation would get it checked out. I'll send over a virtual cuppa while you call the dr. Hope it feels better soon x

My son chews his tongue when he is concentrating and when he is tired. The thing drives our family mad as he makes a really loud noise and has no idea he is doing it. It sounds like he is chewing a huge piece of plastic. Anyone any experience with this kind of thing and any ideas on how to help him to stop. I know it doesn't sound like much but it is a real pain. Ta x

Who to contact about faulty traffic lights?
Cluffy74 replied to nerd's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
If its the new crossings at the bottom of Spital Hill they are Puffin crossings and do not have a flashing green man for pedestrians. The flashing green man is on a Pelican crossing which operates at the same time as the flashing amber phase for drivers. -
Ginger Daddy thinks you own the butty shop and are giving it a cheap plug. Your not allowed to say nice things on this ere forum without being jumped on I'm afraid. On a lighter note I live quite close by and might pop in and give their sarnies a try thanks for the recommendation:)

Which council department deals with road sign queries?
Cluffy74 replied to barrywhite's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
In the UK, although the term dual carriageway applies to any road with physically separated lanes, it is frequently used as a descriptive term for major routes built in this style. Such major dual carriageways usually have two lanes of traffic in each direction, with the lane nearest the centre being reserved for overtaking. Occasionally dual carriageways have only one lane in each direction, or more than two lanes each way (usually to permit easier overtaking of slower uphill traffic). Different speed limits apply on dual carriageway sections from those that apply on single carriageway sections of the same class of road, except in cities and built-up areas where the dual carriageway is more of a safety measure, often intended to prevent pedestrians from crossing a busy road. This would be 70 if NSL and not two lanes. Free from corner your turn next. -

Go re-re-read the Highway Code it honesty does have something to do with that central reservation. Sorry but true. -

Don't think so guys. A dual carriageway with a NSL sign is 70. A single carriageway with a NSL is 60. The fact that the parkway is two lanes at the top does not make it a NSL 70. If you take away the central reservation it would be two lanes on each side but 60 mph. "Dual carriageway" is defined as a carriageway with a central reservation separating flows of traffic. I don't need to cower in any corners when it comes to the Highway Code but thanks anyway. -

My bold. Your original post stated its a 70mph because of the two lanes. The reason it is 70mph at the top end of the Parkway is because it is a dual carriageway. It has nothing to do with the number of lanes could be 1 2 3 4 and so on. A dual carriageway is defined by a separation between traffic ie a reservation. -

No not at all. A re-read of the Highway Code would inform you that the NSL on the Parkway being 70 has nothing to do with the fact that it is two lanes -
