hi guys love the forum and thread !! im off to the gp on monday for my prescription, smoked for 20 years plus, like so many others tried just about everything, so i am looking forward to champix, and hope they are as good as everyone claims.Although i know that part of the giving up and handling the nasty withdrawal effects are down to me. I would like to ask everyone who has tried it if there have any advice for me, as reading all these threads its apparent of the side affects ie nausea and wanting to kill people!! and it seems some people have varied the dosage. Must just say my poor girlfriend was devastated when she heard i was stopping again-bless her, she has had to put up with a lot during my withdrawal periods, and i cant believe she has'nt smothered me whilst alseep up to now. look forward to chatting to you all and hearing from you-thanks
