  1. tried costco last night, they were 40 quid a tyre more expensive than local garage
  2. most dealers will ask for a monthly payment 40 odd days after your deposit, you can then pay off the balance remaining when your cash comes through, and you will have only paid interest on a fairly small amount. You will of course need to go through the usual credit searches, and if you only 17 you probably wont be accepted, unless you can get an adult (18+ with good credit history) to sign as a guarantor, therefore if you default on the payments the ccj would be against them. hope that helps
  3. if you have a complaint about a head the first port of call should be the chair of governers, you can get that info from the school office
  4. no it would take a huge amount of finance to build the production facilities to produce copied cartridges, so as long as it has got the original sticker on the front and not something else, (which if i put in this post the thread will get deleted can tell by PM though) you should be fine Might be worth trying to clean the gold prongs with an earbud, and give the slot it fits in a good blow
  5. doesnt matter if have it in simple mode or any other mode still slow response, you select the mode on a dial on the top of the body, have also tried different sd cards and still no joy
  6. I bought a pentax optio 50 about a year or so ago, and ever since bought it have had a problem with the shutter lag, anything moving fast (ish) by the time taken photo it has gone. Any ideas, other than a new camera
  7. the petition is not due to be submitted for another couple of weeks so probably wont make a difference yet
  8. seeing as at the last census 20% of the population were under 16 and therefore cant vote in an election or this petition it means i suppose 48 million can (discounting the 16-18 year olds) therefore half a million signatures would actually be over 10% which is a lot better looking, you can of course play with any statistic to make it suit your arguement or lack of one. reminder on weblink to petition http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Lowerduty30/
  9. several locations i would take photos from Firstly Shrewsbury Road, looking westerly if you found the right location you can capture midland railway station, Bramall lane football (?) ground, the roof of the new mosque on wolseley road, and the hills of the peak district in the background as well as housing and some industrial looking roofs. Secondly, the crematorium on skew hill in grenoside, just go up there and look i havent enough space to describe it. Finally get as high as you can in the Royal Hallamshire and take a photo of the East end, on a clear day you will be able to get everything from the town centre out to the tinsley viaduct. hope that helps

  14. no matter what you religous views are i think the mosque near chesterfield road is quite impressive, you could take a photo of it from the hill behind the midland station and you would get the full diversity of sw sheffield in one picture.

  20. most responsible lenders will work out what you can afford to repay each month before letting you borrow any amount, but a basic rule of thumb would be 4 - 5 times your salary a 300k mortgage at an interest rate of 5% would cost you 1773.81 per month for 25 years, if you want to play around with figures try this bbc website. http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/property/mortgagecalculator.shtml
