Does anyone remember the Turtons Nick and Jonathon?

i took my kids to Trevs when they were kids...now they are taking their kids....takes him ages to cut yer hair becs he never stops talking....but the laugh you have there is brilliant....dont know what we would do without him now.....we love you Trev...

Hi Devlin....no it doesnt give any other names ...it just says adopted at the right hand side of the birth certificate..( we have wrote to the adoption society and they have wrote back acknowledging our application form and payment...so we will just have to wait for another letter within the next few weeks...thank you for helping...Tracey ... ps.Devlin..did u have a shop near the Moor a few years ago?

good afternoon friends... maybe im barking up the wrong tree in the wrong city...but my father has just found out that he has a brother...his mother and father never told him..it was only after their death and we cleared out the house that a birth certificate were found along with an adoption paper:confused: anyway my fathers brother was born in Leeds on the 23rd of March 1948 at St.Marys hospital...to Henrietta Monaghan (nee Allison) and a John Monaghan...shortly afterwards in April or may he was adopted:( My father is so sad as he thought he had been an only child all his life...my father now has emphasemia and is in very poor health and really wants so much to see his brother...i know all this took place in Leeds but maybe someone adopted him in Sheffield... If anyone can help me in this search i would be so grateful...so please if you can many many regards Tracey

it was my mum who went to Southy Green school and she asked me if i could try to find someone who went there at the same time as her....i asked her about yr brothers and sister but she she didnt remember them....but thankyou for replying...by the way u mentioned Jim Jackson...does he have a daughter called Tracy and lives near Carwood?its just that i went to school with a girl called Tracy Jackson and we were so good friends and her dads name was Jim he worked for years at radio Hallam as security officer...i think about them a lot....anyway love if u could let me know if its the same it would be nice and many thanks

ooohhhi remember it well....taggys ice cream....every sunday at 4pm my brother and me would wait on the corner of Lowedges Road with a large dish ready for a pounds worth of ice cream...and we got loads...it was lovely we had eaten half of it before we got back in to the house:hihi:
