  1. My bus fare has just gone down by £12 a month ...
  2. It does say the old tickets aren't available to use from 2 Jan but also the FAQs for the new tickets say your old ticket is valid till it runs out so it's anyone's guess really! When they changed the tickets round last year (Sheffield -> South Yorkshire) my old ticket was worked on the X17 but not the 43 for a while. My current ticket is valid till 13th Jan so I'm expecting trouble again - I keep my account details available on my phone so I can show the driver there should be a valid ticket in the card.
  3. Seems like my Stagecoach ticket is going to go down from £74 a month (Stagecoach South Yorkshire) to £62 (Stagecoach silver). How very odd 🤔 At least if they've buggered up the 43 so it's no longer useful to me it'll not cost me so much to not use it ... It also impossible to tell from the new 43 timetable where the bloody thing goes.... Ah, it seems they've cancelled the changes. Good, I don't know anyone that was calling for that.
  4. The Light doesn't seem to have anything beyond Thursday either. Unless the apocalypse is coming and all the cinemas have been pre-warned it's probably just 'cos of the bank holiday.
  5. It says it'll be open to the public in massive letters on the side
  6. Not sure how I'm lining his pockets by owing him thousands at 0% and drinking his coffee for free, but.....
  7. There is a new card shop (not Clinton) that's opened on Chapel Walk but every time I've been past it's been empty. Not sure it'll last that long.
  8. I doubt they'll be up until the vouchers are actually available.
  9. £63 a month now for the Sheffield Megarider Plus Xtra (I'd advise doing the monthly recurring one as you don't have to think about it). Depending on where you live and work the X17 might be quicker than the train anyway.
  10. The Megarider Plus monthly only went up £2.50 in October, it's a cheek sticking it up another fiver now
  11. Support Chesterfield? (Don't, it'll only make you miserable....)
  12. North East Derbyshire goes poof and Dronfield is joined to Bolsover
  13. There was something looking like an Indian wedding on late yesterday afternoon at the DoubleTree at Norton (and a fair few posh parked cars taking pictures at the edge of Graves Park).
