I don't know whats kicking off in Fulwood, but my friend who lives in Crosspool said that Police with sniffer dogs were going to flats up in Crosspool, and that there has been ITV news teams in Fulwood. Think it could be to do with Nick Clegg maybe, he lives up there?

I've seen similar stuff happen in there, absolutely no need for 4-5 massive bouncers on one skinny little lad (as is what normally happens) unless the lad is proper kicking off. Power hungry bullies.

Apparently the police ran past our front door chasing some people, i know that some idiots ran through a back garden and jumped in the river a little while ago, so dont know if they've done something similar! Is it related to whats kicking off in Fulwood/Crosspool atm?

Me and my partner were walking to Crosspool via the Crookes Cemetary. When we were walking through the cemetary my partner noticed something in the sky. The object was triangular, rotating slowly and travelling at a slow pace in a dead straight line. It was metallic orange in colour and after a few minutes (where we tried to rationalise what it could be!) it disappeared. This was in May 2008 and a few weeks ago (June 2008) I was having a cigarette out the window in Crookes, when I spotted a smiliar object in the distance. It behaved in a similar matter and disappeared a few moments after I saw it. Has anybody else seen anything similar or have any rational explaination as to what this could be?

I've been trying to get hold of the South Seas in Broomhill but every number I have found on google and yell.com doesn't work or rings through and asks me for a security code. Does anyone have the definate number for the South Seas?

I want to book a pub or function room for my birthday on friday 25th of April in the West St/Division St/Broomhill/Crookes area. I've contacted Takapuna but they will not let me provide my own buffet and as i am not sure how many will turn up i dont want to pay for a buffet per head in case i get too little! Is there a pub or function room in this area which will let me provide my own buffet? The pub or function room will need to be easy to find and not chavvy or full of attitude. Any suggestions?
