Sheffield Fans Derby 12 takes place tomorrow, Sunday 19th April between fans of Sheff Utd take on Sheff Wed at Penistone Church FC, 3pm KO. Fans Derby has raised over £27000 over the last 7 years for local charities, and this event is being held to raise funds for the Sheffield Helipad Appeal. http://www.sheffieldhelipad.com/ Tickets for the event are £3 on the gate. Players wanted to represent Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday in the 11th Sheffield Fans Derby. The Sheffield Fans Derby is a twice-yearly football game played between Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday Fans to raise cash for good causes within the local area. Sheffield Fans Derby is pleased to announce that SFD 11 is to take place on Thursday 10th April 2013 with a 7:30pm Kick-Off at Sandygate, the Home of Hallam FC, the oldest football ground in the world! This event will be supporting Sheffield Hospitals Charity: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They would like players who would like to take part in the event to register their interest. After selection players pay an initial registration fee and are then expected to raise sponsorship. They should be fans of either club, play football to a reasonable level and be able to raise the required sponsorship.
