I use my hermes for parcels. They are quite competitive.

I work long hours as well and I'm self employed so have to work when I can. I'm lucky enough to have my mum within walking distance who does 3hrs a week. If I'm here I help her clean otherwise she just gets on with it. Its just a once over once a week. If my mum couldn't do it I would have to get someone else. I also have 2 small children so every minute more I can spend with them is good

Before you get your chickens Heeley City Farm do a great chicken keeping course. Its a short day course and they will point you in the direction to get some.

Now I've stopped laughing, back to the main point. I'm lucky to be able to send my son to a brand new school which is doing wonders. He is not quite 5 years and I am amazed at how his teacher has quickly found his strengths in learning and used these to his advantage. I am hoping the school will be assessed as outstanding to relect the staffs hard work there. Unfortunately, or fortunately for my son, the attendance level is appauling which is down to the parents. I believe that during the primary years the parents are responsible for kids getting to school and getting this wonderful free education on offer. If parents don't support their kids then the kids well leave school with a below 'standard' ability to write and speak correctly. I also think there is too much in the curriculum. More time should be spent on the basics of maths and english. (Pick the bones out of my grammer if you want!)

I don't have a problem with kids throwing snowballs. As this was yesterday they would have been throwing ice balls which is a differant scenario. I've always told kids not to throw at my windows or car once it turns to ice and upto now been lucky to have no damage, pretty good for S5!!

I use Don Valley signs. He's very good and great for repairs also if some little bugger removes part of your signage!!

If you have this still I would love to try this on my german shepherd. She is a terrible puller when walking. She is really good off the lead but this isn't the best option when road walking. I am in S5 and could collect almost any time as I work from home.

I am a car driver but if I am ever going into town I get the bus. I visited the market about 4 weeks after it opened to see what all the fuss was about and was disappointed. I have 2 small children who at the time were 1yr and 3yrs. There were no signs up telling me where the toilets are. When you have a 3 yr old saying hurry mummy or I'm peeing in my pants is annoying. I had to find a stall holder who wasn't serving to ask. The toilets were disgusting. They obviously hadn't been cleaned for a several hours due to the amount of rubbish, tissue and water on the floor and one of the toilets was out of commision due to <REMOVED> being all over it. Public toilets are never the nicest but I haven't returned to town since as there is nothing 'special' I can't get elsewhere that better suits my child and work commitments.
